城市群的空间结构与经济效率:来自中国的经验证据

【摘要】：基于中国十大城市群1994—2013年的面板数据,通过集中—分散维度和单中心—多中心维度两个空间结构变量描述城市群空间结构之间的差异,以人均产出作为代理变量来反映城市群的经济效率,在控制了物质资本存量、人力资本、外商直接投资、财政支出、人口规模等变量后,揭示了城市群的空间结构与其经济效率之间的关系。研究发现,城市群的空间结构会对其经济表现产生显著的影响,空间结构上较为集中的城市群将表现出较低的经济效率;空间结构上具有明显的多中心特性的城市群表现出了更高的经济效率;此外,城市群的规模依然是影响其经济效率的重要变量,城市群的规模对人均产出有显著的正向影响。
[Abstract]:Based on the panel data of ten major urban agglomerations in China from 1994 to 2013, the differences between spatial structures of urban agglomerations are described by two spatial structure variables: centralized-decentralized dimension and single-center-multi-center dimension. Taking per capita output as agency variable to reflect the economic efficiency of urban agglomeration, after controlling the stock of material capital, human capital, foreign direct investment, fiscal expenditure, population size and other variables, The relationship between the spatial structure of urban agglomeration and its economic efficiency is revealed. It is found that the spatial structure of urban agglomeration will have a significant impact on its economic performance, and the urban agglomeration with concentrated spatial structure will show low economic efficiency. The urban agglomeration with obvious multicenter characteristics in spatial structure shows higher economic efficiency; in addition, the size of urban agglomeration is still an important variable affecting its economic efficiency, and the size of urban agglomeration has a significant positive impact on per capita output.
