中美两国银行业集中度-利润关系的比较研究

【摘要】：市场集中度与利润之间的关系是产业组织学经典的研究主题之一。就二者的关系而言,不同的学者根据自己的实证研究,得出的结论也不尽相同,比如哈佛学派和芝加哥学派就这一问题有着明显的不同的结论。本文以中美两国的银行业作为研究对象,对这两个国家的银行业的集中度-利润关系做了一个比较研究。实证研究显示美国银行业集中度对利润总额产生显著影响,但是中国银行业在集中度不断下降的情况下,利润总额却在不断提升。文章最后对产生这一背离现象的原因做了理性分析。
[Abstract]:The relationship between market concentration and profit is one of the classical research topics of industrial organization. As far as the relationship between them is concerned, different scholars come to different conclusions according to their own empirical research. For example, Harvard School and Chicago School have different conclusions on this issue. This paper takes the banking industry of China and the United States as the research object, and makes a comparative study on the centralization-profit relationship between the banking industry of these two countries. Empirical studies show that U.S. banking concentration has a significant impact on the total profits, but China's banking industry in the case of declining concentration, the total profits are constantly rising. Finally, the paper makes a rational analysis of the causes of this deviation.
