西非地区港口被认为是西非国家经济的重要组成部分。这些港口作为服务提供商,不应因管理不善而导致任何运营损失。鉴于服务港口的复杂性和多样化,以及对快速管理决策的需求,所以定期向港口管理人员提供关于运行性能的报告和分析显得至关重要。科托努港位于贝宁,由于与其运营相关的诸多原因,目前是西非效率最低的港口之一,尽管该港口拥有其他港口所不具备的潜在优势。鉴于此,港口高级管理人员最近采取了一些扩大港口并使其现代化措施,从而推动港口运营,提升市场竞争力。然而,目前采取的举措似乎远远不够。港口的现状促使其管理者和投资者对影响科托努港效益的决定因素进行更多的研究,以便找出有益的对策。本文通过调查分析评定了科托努薄弱环节的原因,同时通过多线性回归分析对港口的集装箱吞吐量进行了评估。该评估显示,工作人员不足、港口区域管理不善、用时低效、陆港匮乏以及公私伙伴关系不佳是影响科托努港绩效的主要因素。另外,回归分析结果表明,还存在另外三个影响港口运营的因素,即相关就业问题、船舶处理时间和集装箱处理时间。该分析确立了集装箱需求函数,并预测未来几年的集装箱吞吐量。借助这一需求函数,科托努港的管理人员可以预测未来几年他们必...
