[Abstract]:On May 27, 2016, according to the Space News website, the US Strategic Command is considering developing a follow-on satellite in response to the launch in June 2011 of the operational response Space -1 (ORS-1) satellite, the operational response Space -1 (ORS-1) satellite, decommissioned in 2017 to reach its design life. Each 90min orbits the Earth, providing visible and infrared images to US forces fighting in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. By allowing battlefield military leaders to quickly arrange imaging missions to satellites, the satellites provide "mission support" for various operational commanders
