动物保护伦理及其实践困境——以玉林“狗肉节”引发的争议为例

【摘要】：从动物保护伦理的角度看,人类社会的发展可以分为三个阶段,即以动物为敌的阶段、以动物为工具的阶段、保护动物的阶段。保护动物是人类社会发展的趋势,是文明进步的体现。狗不同于其他家禽家畜,它是自然界中唯一能信任人并能陪伴人左右的动物,其对人的忠诚与奉献令人动容,正因为狗的这种特殊性,才导致了我们对它的保护。保护狗,一方面出于作为主体的人的责任,另一方面出于人维护自身精神品质的需要,因此保护狗其实保护的就是人自己。保护狗是有条件的,它只是在与人的基本生存发展需要不产生矛盾时才有效。保护狗要以宽容、耐心的态度进行,而不能付诸暴力,它应该在"反思的平衡"中不断获得发展。
[Abstract]:From the point of view of animal protection ethics, the development of human society can be divided into three stages: the stage of taking the animal as the enemy, the stage of taking the animal as the tool, and the stage of protecting the animal. The dog is the only animal in nature that can trust and accompany people. Its loyalty and devotion to people is very impressive, because of the special nature of dogs. That's why we protect it. To protect dogs, on the one hand, out of the responsibility of the human being as the subject, on the other hand, out of the need for people to maintain their own spiritual qualities, so the protection of dogs is in fact the protection of human beings. There are conditions for the protection of dogs. It is only effective when it does not contradict the basic survival and development needs of human beings. The protection of dogs should be carried out with tolerance and patience rather than violence. It should continue to develop in the "balance of reflection".
