【摘要】：正苏州市郊太湖岸边,有一座距今两千多年的古镇木渎,它不但历史悠久、物华天宝,且风光秀丽、人杰地灵,天然之美与人文胜迹水乳交融,处处散发着浓郁的吴越文化气息。关于小镇名字的由来,还有一段民间故事。据说,春秋时吴王夫差为博取美貌如花的佳人西施欢心,在小镇边的灵岩山上大兴土木为其修建宫殿,采自各地的珍贵木材从水路不断运来,由于数量庞大,竟堵塞了河流港渎,一时间"木塞于渎",小镇因此得名。史书记
