[Abstract]:As a student of Cai Shaohuai, he was deeply saddened to learn of the unfortunate death of researcher Cai Shaohuai. Our cultivation and education, and the scene of working together, are still vividly remembered, as if they were yesterday. I would like to recall the contributions made by Mr Choi Shao-huai in the field of structural engineering. Mr. Cai Shaohuai was born in Nanchuan District, Chongqing City, Sichuan Province in April 1929. He was admitted to the Department of Civil Engineering of Chongqing University in 1947.
