婚备竞赛:共识、策略与行动——理解华北农村婚恋压力的一个中观机制

【摘要】：基于华北多地农村的驻村调研,本文旨在梳理近年来华北农村婚姻支付成本不断上涨的拉升机制,并在村庄整体经验基础上,试图勾勒出理解华北农村婚恋压力的一个中观机制。传宗接代、养儿防老的本体性价值和村庄面子竞争的社会性价值,共同形塑了华北父母的人生任务内容,使得为儿子完婚成为一件具有强文化规定性的基本共识;面对性别比失衡下男多女少的人口压力和打工经济背景下女性资源外流的现实,婚姻市场竞争日趋激烈,集全家之力打造婚姻市场中的比较优势便成为最大多数家庭的应对策略;在以半耕半工为主的家计模式下,房子、车子、彩礼、酒席和仪式成为村民争相追求的竞争标的物,婚备竞赛由此诞生。伴随而来的是高额彩礼、建房潮、代际剥削、闪婚闪离等衍生品。
[Abstract]:Based on the rural resident survey in many rural areas of North China, this paper aims to comb the rising mechanism of marriage payment costs in rural areas of North China in recent years, and on the basis of the overall experience of the villages. This paper attempts to outline a mesoscopic mechanism for understanding the pressure of marriage and love in rural areas of North China. The Noumenon value of raising children and protecting the elderly and the social value of face competition in villages have shaped the contents of the life tasks of parents in North China and made the marriage for their sons become a basic consensus with strong cultural prescriptions. In the face of the population pressure of men, more women than women, and the outflow of female resources under the background of working economy, the marriage market is becoming more and more competitive. Building a family's comparative advantage in the marriage market becomes the most important coping strategy for most families. In a half-ploughed, half-work-based family planning model, houses, cars, brides, dinners and rituals become the subject of competition that villagers are vying for. This is the birth of the wedding preparation competition. Accompanied by high bride price, housing boom, intergenerational exploitation, flashy marriage and other derivatives.
