[Abstract]:Objective to investigate the influence of religious belief on the psychological well-being of married single women and the intermediary effect of marriage attitude. Methods from July to August 2016, a convenient sampling method was used to distribute questionnaires through online channels (WeChat QQs, professional survey websites) to investigate 25 to 45 years old unmarried single women. The Chinese revised version of Ryff's Psychological Well-being scale and the revised Chinese version of Braaten's Marriage attitude scale were used to investigate. Results A total of 358 questionnaires were collected and 300 were valid. The effective recovery rate was 83.8%. There was no correlation between religious beliefs and Ryff psychological well-being scale scores of married single women (P0.05), but there was no correlation with personal growth. The scores of life goals were positively correlated (P0.05), and negatively correlated with the scores of self-acceptance (P0.05). There was a positive correlation between the general concept of marriage and the evaluation or outlook dimension of self-marriage (P0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that marriage attitude of married single women had positive predictive effect on psychological well-being (P0.05). After controlling the influence of age, education and monthly income on psychological well-being and marriage attitude, the model of intermediary function structure equation and path analysis showed that, The marriage attitude of single Christian married women had a positive effect on psychological well-being (尾 0.394g / P0.001), and the religious attitude had a positive effect on both marriage attitude and psychological well-being (尾 0.506p 0.001; 尾 0.216P 0.05). Bootstrap (NK1 000) estimation method was used to test the mediating effect. The standardized indirect effect of religion on psychological well-being of single Christian married women was estimated to be 0.199 [95 CI (0.055 卤0.528)], the standard error was 0.091, the indirect effect was significant (P0.05), the estimated value of standardized direct effect was 0.216 [95CI (-0.123 卤0.404)], the standard error was 0.122, and the direct effect was not significant (P0.05). Marriage attitude plays a role as a mediator between religious and psychological well-being of single Christian married women. Conclusion the psychological well-being of married single women is not related to religious beliefs, but it is closely related to marriage attitude. Religious beliefs influence the psychological well-being of Christian married single women through marriage attitude.
