痛苦抑或安详:中国老年人临终状态及其影响因素的实证探究

【摘要】：死亡是生命自然的归宿。随着中国老龄化程度的不断加深,提高老年人的死亡质量将成为今后社会中一大现实议题。基于"中国老年人健康长寿影响因素调查(CLHLS)"数据的分析的结果表明,城乡、不同社会经济地位老年人的临终痛苦程度有显著差异。病理症状不是影响老年人临终感受的唯一因素,临终照料、社会支持以及社会环境等因素都会显著影响老年人的临终感受与痛苦程度。临终照料的可及性、可负担性与专业性越高,老年人临终的痛苦程度越低。当前中国临终医护资源的稀缺与分布的不均是导致老年人死亡质量低下的主要原因。
[Abstract]:Death is the natural home of life. With the deepening of aging in China, improving the death quality of the elderly will become a major social issue in the future. Based on the data of the investigation on the influencing factors of health and longevity of the elderly in China, the results show that there are significant differences in the degree of terminal pain between urban and rural elderly with different socioeconomic status. Pathological symptoms are not the only factors that affect the terminal feeling of the elderly. The factors of hospice care, social support and social environment can significantly affect the degree of death and pain of the elderly. The higher the accessibility, affordability and professionalism of hospice care, the lower the pain of dying in the elderly. The scarcity and uneven distribution of hospice care resources in China are the main reasons for the low quality of death among the elderly.
