忆汪敬虞先生对我的研究生教育

【摘要】：正汪敬虞先生是我国学术界的老前辈,他在近代经济史研究领域的卓越建树,学术界已有公论。同时他在传授学生,培育新人方面也倾注了很多心血。作为汪先生的学生,在这里我想谈谈他对我的研究生教育。1989年下半年,作为"文革"后毕业的大学生,在高校任教七八年的我,愈来愈感到由于"文革"的耽搁,基础单薄,学力不足,已不能适应高校教学和科研的需要。于是就萌生了报考博士研究生,继续深造的念头。按照自己的专业方向,自然就想报考敬慕已久的汪先生。于是我给汪先生写了封信,表达了自己的愿望,并附上了发表的论文和出版的书。信寄出后,又感到有点冒昧,汪先生这么著名的专家,和自己素昧平生,能有回音吗?但不久,汪先生就回了信,表示欢迎我报考,并希望我有
