[Abstract]:Slavery is the characteristic labor force possession system in the history of Southeast Asia. It exists widely in the history of various countries and nationalities in Southeast Asia for a long time. Because of its special natural environment, social structure and cultural background, its slavery is obviously different from the slavery existing in other countries and regions in the history of the world, showing its unique characteristics. In most parts of Southeast Asia, there is no obvious social difference between slaves and ordinary people or other workers, and there is no sharp class conflict between slaves and rulers. Slavery in Southeast Asia is only one of the common forms of labor occupation and hierarchical attachment. Slavery was never the only producer and laborer in the history of Southeast Asia, nor was the relations of production of slavery the only one. It always coexisted with other systems of labour occupation and relations of production. The number of slaves and their role and role in society not only reflect the degree of political pluralism in Southeast Asia, but also serve as an indicator of social and economic development. Slavery in Southeast Asia originated at home and was at the interface of several civilizations. In the process of development, it incorporated a variety of foreign factors, including Islam, India, China and modern Europe. This suggests that Southeast Asia is a highly productive region that examines the interaction of different types of slavery. Therefore, the study of slavery in Southeast Asia not only provides us with a breakthrough and clue to study the history of Southeast Asia, but also provides a reference for the study of slavery in other countries and regions in the history of the world. So the study of slavery in Southeast Asia is of great significance. Based on the historical and social background of different periods in Southeast Asia, this paper will clarify the clue and context of the development of slavery in Southeast Asia, explore the role and role of slaves in the social structure of Southeast Asia, and trace back the origin of slaves in Southeast Asia. Analyzing the types of slavery in Southeast Asia, studying the influence of foreign factors such as Islam and European colonial forces on slavery in Southeast Asia, revealing the living conditions of slaves in Southeast Asia, and exploring the reasons for the decline of slavery, Based on the study of slavery, this paper makes some preliminary thoughts and discussions on the social formation and historical development law of Southeast Asia.
