英属印度电影业发展的历史考察(1896-1947)

【摘要】:英属印度(1)时期是印度电影业产生、发展的重要时期。本文主要从历史学角度考察英属印度电影业产生的历史条件、发展进程、主要特征及其历史影响。第一章,主要论述了英属印度电影业兴起的历史条件。印度电影的产生是多方面因素的综合作用,它是在一定的社会、政治以及文化条件下成长起来的,是西方先进的拍摄技术与印度本国悠久的历史文化相结合而来的。具体从四个方面来进行阐述,英国对印度的殖民统治,印度经济社会的发展以及悠久的历史文化传统,还有电影艺术的发明。第二章,详细论述了英属印度电影业的历史演进过程。英国统治印度以后,从客观上来说,带来了很多方面的进步,早期印度电影正是伴随着这种新印度的成长而发展,当影像世界在印度诞生之后,经历了短片的十年、故事片的盛行,便来到无声电影的顶峰时期也即后期。印度电影紧接着来到有声时代。经济危机时,电影业虽处于低迷时期,但也有新发展。随后民族解放运动的高涨推动有声电影进入到成熟期。第二次世界大战时,印度电影绝处逢生,战后及印度的独立为电影的发展带来新的希望。第三章,主要论述英属印度电影业发展的主要特征。一是处于英国殖民统治之下的印度电影带有浓重的殖民色彩。二是深厚的传统文化意蕴,体现在影片中表现出的传统文化仪式以及文化根基。三是鲜明的歌舞艺术特色,这是印度电影独一无二的魅力与标志。四是浓厚的现实主义色彩,敢于揭露尖锐的现实问题并充满人文关怀。五是印度电影情景和人物塑造模式化,总会在两个小时的时长内讲述一个有趣的故事,出场的人物往往具有类似的风格。第四章,主要论述英属印度电影的历史影响。首先,它为印度独立之后电影业的发展奠定了基础。其次,它与印度民族主义运动产生的影响是相互的。还有印度电影的发展改变了亚洲及世界电影的格局。再次,它对英属印度社会产生一定的影响,成为英国政府控制印度的一种文化手段,加速了印度经济发展的步伐,带来可观利润,同时还见证了印度妇女地位的改善,有利于印度民族电影的发展,保障了印度电影的市场,还丰富了观众的娱乐生活。
[Abstract]:The period of British India (1) was an important period for the emergence and development of the Indian film industry. This paper examines the historical conditions, development process, main characteristics and historical influence of British Indian film industry from the perspective of history. The first chapter mainly discusses the historical conditions of the rise of British Indian film industry. The emergence of Indian film is a comprehensive function of many factors. It grew up under certain social, political and cultural conditions. It is the combination of advanced western shooting technology and India's long history and culture. From four aspects, the British colonial rule over India, India's economic and social development and a long history and cultural tradition, as well as the invention of film art. In the second chapter, the historical evolution of British Indian film industry is discussed in detail. After the British rule over India, objectively speaking, it brought a lot of progress. The early Indian films developed with the growth of the new India. When the video world was born in India, it experienced a decade of short films. The popularity of feature films came to the peak of silent films, that is, the late stage. Indian films followed the sound age. During the economic crisis, although the film industry is in a downturn, but there are new developments. Then the upsurge of the National Liberation Movement pushed the sound film into a mature period. During the second World War, Indian films came to life. After the war and India's independence, it brought new hope for the development of films. The third chapter mainly discusses the main characteristics of the development of British Indian film industry. First, Indian films under British colonial rule have a strong colonial color. The second is the profound meaning of traditional culture, reflected in the traditional culture ceremony and cultural foundation. The third is the distinctive artistic characteristics of singing and dancing, which is the unique charm and symbol of Indian films. Fourth, strong realistic color, dare to expose acute practical problems and full of humanistic concern. Five is the Indian film scene and character modeling, always in two hours to tell an interesting story, the appearance of the characters often have a similar style. Chapter four mainly discusses the historical influence of British Indian films. First, it laid the foundation for the development of the film industry after India's independence. Second, it interacts with the Indian nationalist movement. And the development of Indian films has changed the pattern of Asian and world films. Thirdly, it has a certain impact on British Indian society and has become a cultural means for the British government to control India. It has accelerated the pace of India's economic development, brought considerable profits, and witnessed the improvement of the status of women in India. It is beneficial to the development of Indian national film, ensures the market of Indian film, and enriches the entertainment life of audience.
