英语学习者的英语工作记忆容量与英语阅读理解能力的相关性研究

工作记忆是一个同时担负信息储存与处理并且容量有限的认知系统,在人类的认知活动中起着十分重要的作用。阅读理解作为人类重要认知活动之一,它与工作记忆之间的关系得到了越来越多的关注。国外研究者设计了各种相关实验来测量受试者的工作记忆容量,并力求证明工作记忆与母语(英语)阅读理解密切相关,为工作记忆容量与阅读理解关系的研究奠定了基础。随后,国内语言研究者也开始对工作记忆与汉语阅读中歧义句、复合句等特殊句型推理理解的关系进行研究,而对工作记忆容量与英语阅读关系的研究相对匮乏,在这些少量的研究中,针对二者之间具体关系的研究非常缺乏。此外,国内外相关领域对于工作记忆的储存与加工这两个任务之间的关系也尚无定论,它们之间是资源共享的关系还是任务转换的关系,需要更多的实证研究来进行探索。本研究以四川外语学院成都学院英语专业92名三年级学生作为测试对象,对英语学习者的英语工作记忆容量与英语阅读理解能力之间的关系进行探究,主要研究(1)英语学习者的英语工作记忆容量与英语阅读理解能力是否相关?(2)如果相关,工作记忆容量的储存与加工,哪一方面对阅读理解的影响更为显著?工作记忆容量又主要影响阅读理解的哪一方面?(...
