中国语境下的后殖民理论

【摘要】:1978年《东方主义》的出版,标志着后殖民理论的诞生。20世纪80年代末90年代初后殖民理论传入中国,在中国进行了理论旅行,发生了某些变异情况。本文将试图对后殖民理论进行阐释并对它在中国的变异情况作出分析,从而揭示后殖民理论在中国发生变异的原因。后殖民理论的批判特性向我们宣告了文化发展的未来,不同文化之间的关系不应该是二元对立式的封闭状态,而是相互交流与平等对话的多元发展状态。 全文共分五部分: 第一部分:前言。该部分是对全文的总体思路的概括。 第二部分:后殖民理论的时代背景和后殖民理论综述。综述包括后殖民理论的含义、代表人物及后殖民理论的特点。 第三部分:《东方主义》是后殖民理论的经典之作。东方主义话语的理论基础包括德里达的解构主义、福柯的知识权力话语理论以及葛兰西的文化霸权理论。东方主义话语采用了二元对立的形而上学思维方式,将西方认定是世界的中心,东方则理所应当地处于世界的边缘。本文还阐释了《东方主义》本身的某些矛盾之处。 第四部分:中国语境下的后殖民理论误区。后殖民理论被引进中国后,后殖民主义的反西方霸权立场相应地转变成了中国学界的反西方霸权话语,并走向了民族性诉求的极端。具体表现为两种文化现象。一种是东方复兴论,另一种则是中华性的重建。 第五部分:文化间的多元共存。在全球化的背景下,东西方文化开始了广泛的交流,交流过程出现了本土文化与西方文化的碰撞与摩擦现象。如何处理好这两者的关系,是当代中国文化目前急需解决的问题。后殖民理论所推崇的多元文化并存的格局可以说是一种解决文化关系的有效途径。 第六部分:结语。对全文予以总结。
[Abstract]:The publication of Orientalism in 1978 marked the birth of post-colonial theory, which was introduced into China in the late 1980s and early 1990s. This paper attempts to explain the post-colonial theory and analyze its variation in China so as to reveal the reasons for the variation of post-colonial theory in China. The critical characteristics of postcolonial theory have declared the future of cultural development. The relationship between different cultures should not be a closed state of duality, but a pluralistic development state of mutual exchange and equal dialogue. The full text is divided into five parts: the first part: preface. This part is a summary of the overall idea of the full text. The second part: the background of post-colonial theory and a review of post-colonial theory. The review includes the meaning of post-colonial theory, representative characters and the characteristics of post-colonial theory. The third part: Orientalism is a classic of post-colonial theory. The theoretical basis of oriental discourse includes Derrida's deconstruction, Foucault's theory of intellectual power discourse and Gramsci's theory of cultural hegemony. Orientalism adopts the metaphysical thinking mode of dualistic opposition, which regards the West as the center of the world, while the East is rightfully on the edge of the world. This paper also explains some contradictions of Orientalism itself. The fourth part: the misunderstanding of post-colonial theory in Chinese context. After the post-colonial theory was introduced into China, the anti-Western hegemonic position of post-colonialism turned into the anti-Western hegemonic discourse of Chinese academic circles and went to the extreme of national appeal. The concrete manifestation is two kinds of cultural phenomenon. One is the theory of the revival of the East, the other is the reconstruction of the Chinese character. Part five: multi-cultural coexistence. Under the background of globalization, the culture of East and West began to communicate widely, and the collision and friction between native culture and Western culture appeared in the process of communication. How to deal with the relationship between the two is an urgent problem for contemporary Chinese culture. The co-existence of multi-culture in post-colonial theory is an effective way to solve the cultural relationship. Part VI: conclusion. Summarize the full text.
