In the 1960s and 1970s, the whirlwind of populism swept almost five continents around the world. At the end of the 20th century, when mankind entered the era of globalization, populism once again became the focus of attention in the eastern and western hemispheres, especially in Latin America, Eastern Europe and North America, thus forming the third climax of populism.
