加勒比共同体贸易协定对格林纳达贸易流动的影响

几十年来,加勒比国家寻求并签署了许多协定,以帮助促进和改善其国家间的经济一体化。这种融合的目的是改善加勒比地区所有公民的经济和社会福利。加勒比国家大多是容易遭受自然灾害和极易受到外部冲击的小型经济体。其中一项协定是加共体协定,旨在联合各方力量,为这些小经济体创造更好的谈判能力。尽管该地区对贸易自由化和开放经济采取了有利的做法,但加勒比内部的贸易却相对受到限制。格林纳达是加勒比海地区最小的岛屿之一,严重依赖从其他国家进口。本文旨在利用引力模型研究加共体协定对格林纳达贸易流动的影响。为了充分评估加共体协定对格林纳达贸易流量的影响,该研究利用了从贸发会议统计数据库中获得的十八年的二手数据。该文的目标是分析加勒比共同体贸易协定签订后在2000-2018年期间双边贸易流量情况,同时证明该协定是否对格林纳达的贸易存在促进作用。在此基础上,本文拟研究加勒比共同体贸易协定的贸易创造效应和贸易转移效应。引力模型包括用一系列解释变量来解释贸易倒退,然后使用虚拟变量来确定贸易是否受到区域贸易协定的影响。研究结果表明,加勒比共同体协议对贸易的促进是明显的,在研究期间增长了69%。这也表明,其他因素将贸易转移到...
