上海培训机构对外汉语教师和外籍英语教师社会地位自我认同的对比研究

【摘要】：自中国的汉语教育走向海外以来,越来越多的培训机构投身于汉语国际教育市场;同时,英语作为全球公认的交际语言,也催生了火热的英语教育培训。繁荣的汉语国际教育和英语教育培训市场都需要有稳定的教师队伍,这不仅仅需要第二语言教育培训市场监管部门提高管理水平,更需要切实了解对外汉语教师和外籍英语教师的内心感受。为了促进汉语国际教育和国内英语教育培训市场的规范化及良性发展,同时为了提高培训机构中对外汉语教师对于自身价值乃至未来职业规划的看法,有必要对于这两类教师社会地位自我认同进行调查、探究其差异并找出其影响因素。本文将发展心理学和社会学中的"认同"及"布迪厄资本理论"引入第二语言教师研究,对于上海培训机构中的对外汉语教师及外籍英语教师进行问卷调查,并对部分对外汉语教师进行访谈。对比这两类教师的问卷结果,并使用SPSS和Excel软件进行数据统计分析。最终得出结果:对外汉语教师的社会地位认同水平高于外籍英语教师;但同时,这两类教师在经济资本及文化资本上存在较大差异。对外汉语教师对于自身的经济资本和文化资本的满意度远低于外籍英语教师。影响这两类教师的自我社会地位认同水平的影响因素包括:薪资待遇,家庭住房和教育背景。在此基础上,我们提出了相应的建议:提高上海培训机构中对外汉语教师的社会地位自我认同,需要从中国政府和对外汉语教师个人两方面同时入手;既要基于政策扶持、加强监管和引导、营造出良好的国内汉语国际教育市场;同时对外汉语教师也要努力提升自我文化资本和社会资本,保持自身竞争优势。
[Abstract]:Since the Chinese language education in China has gone overseas, more and more training institutions have devoted themselves to the international Chinese education market. At the same time, as a globally recognized language of communication, English has also given birth to a hot English education and training. A prosperous international Chinese education and English education and training market need to have a stable team of teachers. It is not only necessary for the second language education and training market supervision department to improve the management level. In order to promote the standardization and healthy development of the Chinese language education and the domestic English education and training market, it is necessary to understand the inner feelings of the teachers of Chinese as a foreign language and foreign English teachers. At the same time, it is necessary to investigate the social status self-identity of the two types of teachers in order to improve their views on their own value and future career planning in the training institutions. This paper explores the differences and finds out the influencing factors. This paper introduces identity and Bourdieu Capital Theory in developmental psychology and sociology into the study of second language teachers. A questionnaire survey was conducted for the teachers of Chinese as a foreign language and foreign English teachers in Shanghai training institutions, and some teachers of Chinese as a foreign language were interviewed. The results of the questionnaires were compared between the two types of teachers. SPSS and Excel software are used to analyze the data. The results show that the level of social status identity of TCFL teachers is higher than that of EFL teachers; But at the same time. There are great differences between the two types of teachers in economic capital and cultural capital. The satisfaction of TCFL teachers with their own economic capital and cultural capital is much lower than that of foreign English teachers. Factors affecting the level of identity include:. Salary package. Family housing and educational background. On this basis, we put forward the corresponding recommendations: to improve the social status of teachers of Chinese as a foreign language in Shanghai training institutions self-identification. It is necessary to start from both the Chinese government and the teachers of Chinese as a foreign language (TCFL). Based on policy support, we should strengthen supervision and guidance to create a good domestic and international Chinese education market; At the same time, teachers of Chinese as a foreign language should strive to improve their own cultural capital and social capital to maintain their own competitive advantage.
