多模态视角下《轮机英语》(操作级)教材分析和建设研究

本人多年从事轮机英语教学与研究,发现轮机英语教学存在诸多困难,其一就是使用的教材的问题。本文运用多模态话语分析理论分析现行统编教材《轮机英语》(操作级)的模态特征以及针对编写多模态性轮机英语教材提出一些建议,以提高轮机英语教学质量。本研究以中国海事服务中心组织统一编写的《轮机英语》(操作级)作为研究对象,采取定量和定性相结合的研究方法,对来自全国31所航海类高等院校轮机工程技术专业的学生和轮机英语老师进行问卷调查和访谈,广泛征集他们对该教材模态方面的评价和改进建议。本文得出的研究结论如下:彩色插图、音频、视频和动画材料等模态元素的运用对轮机英语教学效果有很大帮助,但从多模态视角考察现行的《轮机英语》(操作级),其视觉模态、听觉模态、PPT课件、在线资源等模态资源存在诸多局限。本文作者建议在多模态话语分析理论指导下,建设一本涵盖彩色插图、音频、视频、动画等多模态资源的轮机英语教材,并通过设计一个多模态化的轮机英语课堂教学示例将教材运用到教学实践。本研究是运用多模态话语分析理论对现行教材《轮机英语》(操作级)进行的首次分析,希望能够为今后编写一套多模态性轮机英语新教材提供一定的思路,同时能...
