女性主义翻译理论视角下《紫色》两个中译本的对比研究

自“文化转向”以来,由女性主义和翻译理论相互结合而产生的女性主义翻译理论开始出现在翻译研究当中,与此同时一大批女性主义理论家和翻译家也开始出现在公众的视野中。在苏珊妮·哈伍德（Sussane de Lotbiniere-Harwood）、谢丽·西蒙（Sherry Simon）、张伯伦（Lori Chamberlain）、路易斯·梵·弗洛托（Luise von Flotow）和芭芭拉·戈达尔德（Barbara Godard）的带领之下,女性主义翻译理论的影响力日益增加。该理论学者主要从性别角度研究翻译,同时利用翻译为女性发声并揭示文学作品以及社会中的性别歧视现象。随后,弗洛托将女性主义翻译家常用的三种翻译策略总结为增补、加前言和脚注以及劫持。《紫色》是黑人女作家艾丽丝·沃克的代表作品,主要描述了黑人女性在当时所受到的压迫和不平等待遇。本文从女性主义翻译理论的角度出发,将陶洁和杨仁敬的两个译本进行对比。本文主要通过对比译作的前言部分来展示两位译者对原著的不同理解,同时通过对比正文部分来体现译者在关于女性弱势地位和女性角色通过获得自我意识以及追求独立而对男权社会实行反抗方面的不同表达。通过一...
