不同时间连词对中国英语学习者语用加工的影响

  在英语学习过程中,中国学习者通常会将中英文相同的概念对等处理。由于英语的时间连词在语义层面与汉语极为相似,所以不少中国英语学习者按照汉语的思维对时间连词句进行句子理解和语用加工。然而由于中国英语学习者和英语母语者对于时间连词的认知模式和加工机制存在差异,以及时间连词句中事件发生的不确定性,都会让读者在重建情景模型时变得困难。本研究旨在探究不同时间连词对中国英语学习者的语用加工的影响,揭示英语学习中母语迁移作用的规律,从而为更加合理有效地应对母语迁移、提高我国英语教学和学习效率提供参考证据。本文以概念迁移理论、印象假说和认知负荷理论为理论框架,选取60名西北师范大学英语专业本科生和研究生作为研究被试参加本实验,依据LexTALE线上测试结果分为高水平组和低水平组。以时间连词中的最具代表性的before和after为例,采用依托E-prime2.0软件编制的自定步速阅读(self-paced reading)这一在线测量程序。将收集到的原始数据导入SPSS 22,建立混合效应模型。试图探究对中国英语学习者来说,不同时间连词如何影响语用加工。试图回答以下三个问题:(1)不同时间连词如何影响句...
