《中国进入世界舞台中心》（1-10章）汉英翻译实践报告

本论文是一篇汉译英翻译实践报告,翻译文本选自《中国进入世界舞台中心》。该作品是一本关于“中国与世界”的政治类著作,其作者是中国国情研究领军人物胡鞍钢教授。该著作主要介绍了新中国成立以来中国取得的成就和在世界舞台上不断演变的角色和身份。对该文本的翻译,有助于外国读者了解中国的发展和政治理念,向世界人们展现中国形象。通过翻译该著作的一至十章,笔者撰写了此实践报告。在介绍翻译项目的背景和意义、论文结构及翻译过程的基础上,本篇实践报告重点分析了翻译过程中遇到的翻译难点及对应的翻译方法和策略。翻译难点主要体现在词汇、句法和篇章三个层面上。在词汇层面,笔者采用直译法翻译中国特色词汇,更好地保留了原文本的特色;在成语的翻译上,采用了意译的翻译方法,准确表达原文含义;对于重复词的现象,笔者则采用了省略的方法进行翻译。在句法方面,对于一些复杂长难句的翻译,笔者采用了句式重构的方法,以符合英文的表达习惯;由于中英文之间的差异,对于原文本中的汉语无主语句,笔者采用增补的方法将其翻译为完整的句子;在古诗文和名言谚语的翻译上,笔者采用了加注的方法,有助于读者更好地理解译文。在篇章方面,对于衔接与连贯的翻译难点,...
