批评性话语分析将语篇的语言分析和社会分析有机地结合起来,旨在研究语言、权力、意识形态之间的关系。政治演讲由于其浓厚的政治色彩和大量的语言策略使用,常常成为批评语言学家的研究对象。2018年4月13日,美英法三国在没有确凿证据的情况下,以“叙利亚政府军使用化学武器残害平民”为由,绕过联合国安理会,对叙境内目标实施空袭。本文试图对美国白宫官方网站发布的有关此次联合空袭的美国总统特朗普的演讲进行批评性话语分析,旨在揭示其中蕴含的语言策略及意识形态。本文以Fairclough的三维分析模型为理论框架,Halliday的系统功能语法和van Dijk的社会认知方法(认知语境、积极自我表述和消极他人表述宏观策略)为分析工具,从以下三个层面进行分析:在描写层面,从词汇选择、及物性、情态动词、人称代词四个方面进行文本的语言特征分析;在阐释层面,从语境阐释和文本阐释两个方面分析语篇的生成、传播和接受;在解释层面,解释话语是如何被社会结构所决定以及话语如何对社会结构产生影响。通过分析作者发现,特朗普通过一定的语言策略使用将意识形态隐藏于政治演讲中。在描述阶段,作者发现带有感情色彩的词汇的大量使用塑造了阿萨...
