【摘要】：中国电影导演张艺谋早期的电影创作多聚焦乡村和基层生活,通过对底层民众人物形象与生存状态的展现,对地域民俗风情的创造性展示,以及对基层自然环境与人文环境的描摹,在营造浓郁乡土氛围的同时,也体现出他在电影创作中自觉的乡土性追求。张艺谋电影的乡土性首先体现在其思想意蕴上。长老权力与血缘传承是解读其电影乡土性意蕴的两个重要角度。乡土的长老权力影响着电影角色的生活境况与存在状态。血缘传承的本能,使张艺谋电影中的两性和婚姻关系呈现出某种功利性,这种本能一旦受阻,就会引发电影角色的生育焦虑。这种焦虑不仅影响着角色的行动和思想,甚至会招致他们生活与命运的悲剧性。张艺谋电影的乡土性也体现在其对民俗元素的表现上。民俗元素具有民族性、地域性、基层性等乡土性特质,也与乡土生活联系密切。在电影的信仰民俗、游艺民俗、人生仪礼等民俗元素中,既展现出乡土情境下民俗元素的现实功能性,也蕴含着导演的情感寄托和艺术追求,还是电影展现乡土之美、人性之美及抒发情感的重要艺术手段。张艺谋电影的乡土性还体现在其电影的影像建构上。很多作品聚焦基层社会,展现和构建了独特的乡土性时空影像,在电影对乡土理想家园及现代化转型的影像呈现中,蕴含着导演对乡土的艺术态度和观念。随着张艺谋电影创作的多元化探索,其电影乡土性的样貌也发生了转变,这种转变体现了导演艺术创作的娱乐化、消费化转型,也反映出民族电影发展功利的现实性要求,也预示着中国电影未来发展的某种方向。
