电影《美国丽人》的叙事风格和文化反思

【摘要】：第72届奥斯卡最佳影片《美国丽人》虽然以家庭生活为题材,但是导演门德斯却以悲剧性、批判性的叙事风格,后现代主义的叙事手法和丰富的文化意蕴,颠覆了好莱坞家庭题材电影传统叙事惯例,并且从美国中产阶级家庭生活的视角对美国社会进行了全方位的剖析,增加了影片叙事的开放性及对社会文化的隐喻作用,引导现代观众对美国社会家庭伦理文化、功利主义、嬉皮士文化等现象进行了深层次的拷问。
[Abstract]:Although the 72nd Academy Award Best Picture "American Beauty" takes family life as its theme, director Mendes takes a tragic and critical narrative style, post-modernist narrative techniques and rich cultural implications. It overturns the traditional narrative conventions of Hollywood family movies, and analyzes the American society from the perspective of American middle-class family life, which increases the openness of the narration and the metaphorical function of social culture. Guided the modern audience to the American society family ethics culture, utilitarianism, hippie culture and so on the phenomenon has carried on the deep level torture.
