试论虚拟旅游及其在晋祠的应用

【摘要】: 虚拟旅游是指虚拟旅游者使用计算机、多媒体、感应器等设备,在由虚拟现实技术创建的虚拟旅游世界中漫游的愉悦体验,这种体验在日常生活中的任意时刻和具备软硬件环境的任何地方都可以进行。虚拟旅游大体可以分为两类:桌面式虚拟旅游、沉浸式虚拟旅游。桌面式虚拟旅游是指虚拟旅游者通过CRT显示器等载体,获得三维立体图像信息和声音信息,进行旅游体验的一种旅游方式;沉浸式虚拟旅游是虚拟旅游者利用头盔显示器等设备,进行一种封闭的旅游体验。虚拟旅游系统作为一种文化产业信息化方式,其优势非常明显。它不仅可以促进对自然、人文旅游资源的保护,也可以起到对历史、文化的展示、宣传和教育的作用,同时可满足一部分人的特殊旅游需求,从而带来一定的经济效益、社会效益和环境效益。随着虚拟现实技术的成熟,虚拟旅游系统开发成本会逐渐降低,虚拟旅游将成为未来旅游业发展的一个重要领域。 晋祠位于山西省太原市西南25公里处,始建于北魏,是为纪念周武王次子姬虞而建。晋祠为集中国古代祠庙建筑、园林、雕塑为一体的珍贵的历史文化遗产,它背靠悬瓮山,内有难老泉,古木参天,景色宜人,人文景观与自然景观浑然天成,是我国首批4A级风景名胜区,也是全国重点文物保护单位之一。晋祠的旅游业起步较早,处于成熟期。随着山西省其他景区的开发,晋祠的旅游发展受到了挑战,其文物保护任务也越来越艰巨。开发晋祠虚拟旅游系统,不仅可以以更直观、更有效的方式宣传景区,开辟晋祠旅游的新领域,带来一定的经济收益,同时也为晋祠建立了三维电子数据库,有利于对晋祠文物古建和生态环境的保护,产生一定的社会效益和环境效益。 本文论述了国内外虚拟旅游的研究动态和发展现状,探讨了虚拟旅游的定义、特征、分类,考察了虚拟旅游所依赖的虚拟现实技术,并在此基础上,根据软件工程学、旅游心理学和市场营销学等的相关理论构思了一个晋祠虚拟旅游系统的开发、设计和推广方案。 晋祠虚拟旅游系统开发的近期目标是在未来2-3年里,开发出一套桌面式虚拟旅游系统,它包括了360度全景漫游系统和基于几何建模的虚拟旅游系统;其长期目标是在未来5-10年里,开发出一套沉浸式虚拟旅游系统,建立晋祠文物电子数据库,使晋祠旅游业的发展水平进入全国乃至世界前列。本文详细介绍了晋祠桌面式虚拟旅游系统的构建思路、方法和过程。该系统包括虚拟旅游、管理和购物三个子系统,它应当具有为虚拟旅游者提供景区的基本信息、旅游动态、360度全景漫游、虚拟晋祠在线游、在线购物、在线预订、系统管理等功能。该系统的设计包括软件平台设计、体系结构设计等方面,本文尤为详细地论述了其中的页面结构和360度全景漫游的设计及基于几何建模的三维场景设计。最后,本文提出了晋祠虚拟旅游系统市场推广的短、中、长期目标,认为主要应以全国城市居民,特别是青中年白领、文化程度较高的人群为推广对象,采用广告和宣传两种推广方法。 笔者希望,本文能对我过虚拟旅游理论的完善和晋祠虚拟旅游的开发有所助益。
