关联理论关照下官方记者招待会中的模糊语探究

【摘要】：本文从关联理论的视角分析官方记者招待会中模糊语言这一现象及其口译对策。以往关于模糊语言的研究大多只局限于笔译范畴中，鲜有对口译过程以及活动中的模糊语言现象及其口译方法进行分析。基于此，作者试图通过关联理论的框架来分析该理论是如何与口译实践活动相结合并且是如何处理口译中的模糊语言，以力图打破长期以来传统的翻译学家以及翻译批评家们将关联理论禁锢于笔译范畴，并认为模糊语言这一语言现象是可以在口译活动中运用关联理论进行解释的。本文共分为六大部分。首先，简要介绍了本文的基本方面。在第二部分，作者分别阐述了模糊语言、关联理论及口译的基本概念及其发展、研究历程。在第三部分，作者通过对模糊语言以及关联理论各自内涵的阐述建立起本文的理论框架，为后面两部分的讨论及分析奠定基础。第四部分集中讨论了关联理论用于分析口译实践的可行性。第五部分为本文的主要部分，作者在关联理论的框架下用大量翔实的例子分析在官方记者招待会口译过程当中模糊语言的应对策略。最后，本文在第六部分得出结论：在官方记者招待会口译活动过程当中，关联理论可以用来指导模糊语言的处理，该理论的合理运用不但不会削弱模糊语言的口译质量，合理口译策略的采用会使译语达到与原语的相同效果，从而最大限度的保证口译质量。通过研究，本文发现：在官方记者招待会口译活动过程之中，关联理论可以用来指导模糊语言的处理，不同的语言环境决定了采取不同的口译策略，以使得口译质量得到最大限度的保证。基于此，作者认为，模糊语言在关联理论的框架下研究应该得到肯定和鼓励。不仅如此，在关联理论的框架下对于模糊语言的分析还可以用于口译质量评估。
[Abstract]:This paper analyzes the phenomenon of vague language in official press conferences and its interpretation strategies from the perspective of relevance theory. There is little analysis of fuzzy language phenomena and interpretation methods in interpreting process and activities. Through the framework of relevance theory, the author tries to analyze how the theory is combined with practical activities in interpreting and how to deal with vague language in interpreting. In order to break the long-standing tradition of translation scholars and translation critics, relevance theory is confined to the category of translation. Fuzzy language is a linguistic phenomenon which can be explained by relevance theory in interpreting activities. The thesis is divided into six parts. Firstly, it briefly introduces the basic aspects of the thesis. In the second part, the author explains the basic concepts and development of fuzzy language, relevance theory and interpretation. In the third part, the author establishes the theoretical framework of this paper by explaining the connotation of fuzzy language and relevance theory. Part 4th focuses on the feasibility of relevance theory in interpreting practice. Part 5th is the main part of this thesis. In the framework of relevance theory, the author uses a large number of detailed examples to analyze the strategies for dealing with vague language in the process of official press conference interpretation. In part 6th, the author draws a conclusion that relevance theory can be used to guide the processing of vague language in the process of official press conference interpretation. The reasonable application of this theory not only does not weaken the interpretation quality of vague language, but also makes the target language achieve the same effect as the original language so as to guarantee the interpretation quality to the maximum extent. Through this study, it is found that in the process of official press conference interpreting, relevance theory can be used to guide the processing of vague language, and different language environments determine different interpreting strategies. Based on this, the author believes that the study of fuzzy language under the framework of relevance theory should be affirmed and encouraged. Fuzzy language analysis can also be used to evaluate interpretation quality within the framework of relevance theory.
