内蒙古师范大学SQA-HND项目中实施英汉双语教学的现状调查研究

【摘要】:自上世纪80年代起,全球化成为世界发展的显著特征,高等教育国际化也应运而生。高等教育国际化是指不同国家之间、不同民族之间、不同文化之间的高等教育领域中的交流、合作与竞争。 在我国,随着改革开放的不断深化,以及我国成功加入世界贸易组织,社会对人才的需求已经从单纯掌握英语或只掌握专业知识转变为需要既精通专业知识又懂英语的复合型国际化人才。在全球化日趋激烈的背景下,中国与其他国家之间的学术交流日益增加,中外合作办学项目也逐年增多,并成为我国高等教育国际化的一个主要的途径,也是实现我国培养复合型国际化人才目标的捷径,同时被国家教育部列为进行大学英语教学改革的途径之一。 内蒙古师范大学开展了多个中外合作办学项目,其中一个是中国教育部留学服务中心与英国苏格兰学历管理委员会合办的英国高等教育文凭项目(SQA-HND项目)。内蒙古师范大学从2004年开始引进SQA-HND项目至今已经8年之久,所以在项目双语教学实践方面形成了一定的规模。此项目涉及五个专业,本文以人力资源管理专业为例,对内蒙古师范大学SQA-HND项目中英汉双语教学的实施现状进行调查。在文中双语教学主要指英汉双语教学,即采用英语和汉语对非英语课程进行教学。文章通过对项目师生进行问卷调查、访谈、课堂观察,旨在回答以下三个研究问题: 1.内蒙古师范大学师生对SQA-HND项目中双语教学的态度和理解; 2.内蒙古师范大学SQA-HND项目双语教学的特点; 3.内蒙古师范大学SQA-HND项目双语教学实施过程中存在的问题。 为了回答以上三个研究问题,笔者对随机挑选的200名项目学生和14名项目教师进行了问卷调查,,对其中的10名学生和5名教师进行了进一步的访谈,并对其中的3名教师的双语教学课堂进行了观察。通过研究,笔者了解了项目师生对于SQA-HND项目下双语教学的态度和对双语教学的理解,总结了内蒙古师范大学SQA-HND项目双语教学的特点和存在的问题。 虽然有关中国双语教学的各种研究已有不少,但是对于SQA-HND项目的研究却寥寥无几,所以本研究具有一定的实践意义,对于其他SQA-HND项目中心和内蒙古师范大学英汉双语教学具有指导作用。通过SQA-HND项目双语教学现状的调查对教师教学和教学管理部门提出了一些建议,也为内蒙古师范大学其他双语教学项目提供了参考建议。
[Abstract]:Since -20s, globalization has become a prominent feature of world development, and the internationalization of higher education has emerged as the times require. Communication, cooperation and competition among different cultures in the field of higher education. In China, with the continuous deepening of reform and opening up, and China's successful accession to the World Trade Organization, The social demand for talents has changed from simply mastering English or mastering professional knowledge to complex international talents who are both proficient in professional knowledge and English. The academic exchanges between China and other countries are increasing day by day, and the Sino-foreign cooperative school-running projects are also increasing year by year. It has become a main way to internationalize higher education in our country, and is also a shortcut to realize the goal of cultivating compound internationalized talents in our country. At the same time, it is listed as one of the ways to reform college English teaching by the Ministry of Education. Inner Mongolia normal University has launched a number of Sino-foreign cooperative educational projects. One of them is the SQA-HND Program, a British higher Education Diploma Program jointly organized by the Chinese Ministry of Education study abroad Service Center and the Scottish academic qualifications Management Committee. It has been eight years since Inner Mongolia normal University began to introduce the SQA-HND program in 2004. So the bilingual teaching practice of the project has formed a certain scale. This project involves five specialties, this article takes the human resources management specialty as an example. The present situation of bilingual teaching in SQA-HND project of Inner Mongolia normal University is investigated. In this paper, bilingual teaching mainly refers to bilingual teaching in English and Chinese. This paper aims to answer the following three research questions by conducting questionnaires, interviews and classroom observations to teachers and students in the project:. 1. The attitude and understanding of teachers and students of Inner Mongolia normal University towards bilingual teaching in SQA-HND project; 2.The characteristics of bilingual teaching in SQA-HND project of Inner Mongolia normal University; 3. The problems in the implementation of SQA-HND project in Inner Mongolia normal University. In order to answer the above three research questions, the author conducted a questionnaire survey on 200 randomly selected project students and 14 project teachers, and conducted further interviews with 10 students and 5 teachers. Through the study, the author understands the attitude of the project teachers and students towards bilingual teaching under the SQA-HND project and their understanding of bilingual teaching. This paper summarizes the characteristics and problems of SQA-HND bilingual teaching in Inner Mongolia normal University. Although there have been many studies on bilingual teaching in China, there have been few studies on the SQA-HND project, so this study has some practical significance. It is helpful to other SQA-HND project centers and Inner Mongolia normal University to guide English-Chinese bilingual teaching. Through the investigation of the current situation of bilingual teaching in the SQA-HND project, some suggestions are put forward to teachers' teaching and teaching management departments. It also provides reference suggestions for other bilingual teaching projects in Inner Mongolia normal University.
