【摘要】：正Hauser et al.(2002)提出语言的"生物普遍性"掀起了从生物学角度探讨语言进化的热潮,但关于形态进化的论著却很少。Andrew Carstairs-McCarthy所著《形态的进化》填补了这方面的空白。Carstairs-McCarthy主要在词和范式(word and paradigm)框架下研究屈折形态,在形态模块地位问题上,他与生成语法形态学的主流,即句法学派和分布形态学的观点对立,主张形态是区别于句法的独立模块,反对将形态"归并"为句法。《形态的进化》告诉我们,Carstairs-
[Abstract]:"Biological universality" of language has raised an upsurge in exploring language evolution from a biological point of view. However, few works on morphological evolution by Andrew Carstairs-McCarthy fill the gap in this field. Carstair-McCarthy mainly studies flexion in the framework of word and paradigm word and paradigm, and studies the status of morphological modules.
