市场视角下的翻译硕士(MTI)培养

【摘要】:应翻译市场对人才的需求,我国近年来一直在加大力度培养翻译人才。翻译硕士专业(MTI)应运而生,发展势头迅猛。可是,,根据观察,翻译市场的人才紧缺并未在MTI迅猛发展的势头下有多少缓解。本文推测,现实与专业设立初衷之间产生矛盾的原因就在于MTI人才培养质量不能满足市场需求。在翻译教学研究领域,如何提高MTI培养质量已经成了重点探讨的问题,但大多探讨集中在翻译教学领域,少有从市场角度为提高MTI培养质量做出观察。为尝试弥补该研究方向的空缺并证实上述推测,本文以翻译市场为突破口,通过市场调查,向市场讨教提升翻译人才培养质量的方法,以期从市场这一全新角度为提升MTI培养质量找寻行之有效的建议。 市场调查的过程艰难曲折,但得出的结果是极具价值的。本次市场调查的结果验证了本文对现阶段MTI培养无法满足市场需求的原因推测,而且还就如何提升MTI培养质量的问题引出了新的思考。本文基于对翻译市场调查结果的分析,就提升MTI培养质量方面,向MTI培养院校提出三个建议:1、提升MTI培养的专业性;2、考虑学生、市场及MTI培养院校的机会成本;3、为学生的职业生涯尽职尽责。本文对此三点建议做出了详细论述,覆盖了MTI培养院校、翻译市场及学生三个角度,涉及师资队伍建设、课程设置、“第二课堂”、入学考试、入学后的考试评估、MTI培养的道德风险及实习等方面。 在提升翻译培养质量这一热点研究领域,本文另辟蹊径,从市场视角看待MTI培养,不仅论证了翻译市场对MTI培养的重要性,也为提升MTI培养质量的研究走出了一条新路子。
[Abstract]:In response to the demand for talents in the translation market, China has been increasing its efforts to train translators in recent years.Translation Master's major MTI) emerges as the times require, the development momentum is swift and violent.However, according to observation, the talent shortage in the translation market has not been eased by the rapid development of MTI.This paper speculated that the contradiction between reality and the original intention of professional establishment lies in the fact that the quality of MTI talent training can not meet the market demand.In the field of translation teaching and research, how to improve the quality of MTI cultivation has become a key issue, but most of the discussions focused on the field of translation teaching, few from the market point of view to improve the quality of MTI training.In order to try to make up for the lack of the research direction and to confirm the above speculation, this paper takes the translation market as the breakthrough point, through the market investigation, discusses the ways to improve the quality of the training of translation talents from the market.The aim is to find effective suggestions for improving the quality of MTI culture from the new point of view of market.The process of market investigation is difficult and tortuous, but the result is very valuable.The results of this market survey confirm the reason why MTI training can not meet the market demand at present, and it also leads to new thinking on how to improve the quality of MTI training.Based on the analysis of the results of the translation market survey, this paper puts forward three suggestions to the MTI training institutions on how to improve the quality of MTI training, and proposes three suggestions to enhance the professionalism of MTI training.The opportunity cost of marketing and MTI training schools is 3%, and they are responsible for their students' careers.This paper makes a detailed discussion of these three suggestions, covering the MTI training colleges, translation market and students, involving the construction of teachers, curriculum, "second classroom", entrance examination,The post-entrance examination assesses the moral hazard and practice of MTI training.In the hot research field of improving the quality of translation training, this paper tries to find a new way to look at MTI culture from the perspective of market, which not only demonstrates the importance of translation market to the cultivation of MTI, but also opens a new way for the study of improving the quality of MTI training.
