英汉主观位移句的对比研究

【摘要】:主观位移句中,位移动词用在对静态空间场景的描写上。不同语言中的主观位移句既有共性,又有特性。描写和解释英汉语主观位移句的异同是本文的主要任务。论文以英语和汉语中的主观位移句为研究对象,通过对大量语料的统计分析,找出两者在主观位移构建上特点,并运用认知语言学和类型学的相关研究成果对发现的规律和差异进行阐释。论文的对比工作以“三个对比角度、两个对比步骤”的形式展开。借鉴学界对运动事件的认知分析,本文选取凸像、背衬、路径和方式几个运动事件的概念成分作为常量,分析英语样本和汉语样本在凸像选取、路径和方式表征上的相同与差异。在每个对比角度上,本文首先通过对英汉主观位移句样本的分析统计找规律、找差异;然后运用翻译对比的方法,从汉语译文对英语原文的翻译处理中进一步揭示两者的异同。论文的前三个章节介绍了文章的总体框架,回顾了过去的主观位移研究,探讨了一些关键性的理论问题,为后续的对比工作打下基础。描写和解释的工作主要集中在第四章到第六章。第七章对全文内容进行总结,对未来研究做了展望。本文发现,英汉在主观位移构建上既有相同点,又有不同点。相同点表现在凸像选取、路径条件和方式条件上。英汉主观位移句中的凸像表现出类似的特点,在分布上表现出类似的模式。英汉主观位移句都遵守路径条件,在语言表层提供有关路径的信息。英汉主观位移句都遵守方式条件,使用大量的路径动词来编码主观位移事件。英汉主观位移句的不同体现在对路径和方式的具体表征上。英语主观位移句对路径描写得更为细致,表现为单个动词携带更多的背衬信息和对路径做更细致的切分。与汉语主观位移句相比,方式在英语主观位移句中凸显度更高。方式信息在英语主观位移句里的出现频率高、范围广。英汉主观位移句的共性和个性既与思维规律有关,也与语法结构有关。从英汉对比的角度研究主观位移可以加深我们对这个思维和语言现象的认识,可以为英汉对比研究开辟新的领域,也可以为英汉互译和二语习得等方面的研究提供帮助。
[Abstract]:In the subjective displacement sentence, the displacement verb is used to describe the static space scene.The subjective displacement sentences in different languages have both common and special features.The main task of this thesis is to describe and explain the similarities and differences between English and Chinese subjective displacement sentences.This paper takes the subjective displacement sentence in English and Chinese as the research object, and finds out the characteristics of the subjective displacement construction through the statistical analysis of a large number of data.And use cognitive linguistics and typology related research results to explain the rules and differences of discovery.The comparative work of the thesis is in the form of "three contrasting angles, two contrasting steps".Referring to the cognitive analysis of motion events in academic circles, this paper selects the conceptual components of convex image, backing image, path and mode as constants, and analyzes English and Chinese samples in convex image selection.The similarities and differences in the representation of paths and modes.The first three chapters introduce the overall framework of the paper, review the previous research on subjective displacement, and discuss some key theoretical issues, which will lay the foundation for the subsequent comparative work.The work of description and explanation is mainly concentrated in the fourth to sixth chapters.The seventh chapter summarizes the content of the full text and makes a prospect for the future research.This paper finds that English and Chinese have both similarities and differences in the construction of subjective displacement.The similarities are shown in convex image selection, path conditions and mode conditions.The convex images in English and Chinese subjective displacement sentences show similar characteristics and similar patterns in distribution.Both English and Chinese subjective displacement sentences obey the path condition and provide information about the path at the surface of the language.Both English and Chinese subjective displacement sentences comply with mode conditions and use a large number of path verbs to encode subjective displacement events.The differences between English and Chinese subjective displacement sentences are embodied in the specific representation of paths and ways.The English subjective displacement sentences describe the path in more detail, which shows that a single verb carries more backing information and makes a more detailed segmentation of the path.Compared with Chinese subjective displacement sentence, the way is more prominent in English subjective displacement sentence.Mode information appears frequently in English subjective displacement sentences and has a wide range.The generality and individuality of English and Chinese subjective displacement sentences are not only related to the law of thinking, but also to the grammatical structure.From the perspective of contrastive study of English and Chinese, the study of subjective displacement can deepen our understanding of this thinking and linguistic phenomenon, open up a new field for contrastive study of English and Chinese, and also provide help for the study of English-Chinese translation and second language acquisition.
