《从顺应理论角度研究口译中的文化因素》

【摘要】：全球化使来自不同文化的人们交流日益增多，而文化的多样性和不同文化之间的差异性必然会造成跨文化交流过程的障碍，从而对作为跨文化沟通桥梁的口译员提出了要求。维索尔伦的顺应理论对语用学整体理论的构建影响巨大，与此同时，也为口译研究开辟了新的领域，提供了新的视角，，发挥了积极的指导性作用。本文从顺应理论的角度对口译中的文化因素进行了解析，分析和探讨了跨文化口译可能遇到的种种障碍及其应对策略。本文主要可分为三部分。第一部分概观了口译理论及维索尔伦的顺应理论，通过将口译和顺应的特点进行对比分析，发现口译和顺应的相似之处在于，口译也是一个不断进行选择以达到语境关系顺应和语言结构顺应的动态过程，从而得出观点——口译过程是一个顺应的过程。第二部分分析了跨文化口译过程中四种主要的文化障碍（即文化缺省、思维模式不同、价值体系不同、宗教信仰不同）所造成的口译障碍，并结合第一部分的分析得出结论——顺应是口译中文化障碍的根本解决之道。第三部分结合丰富的实例，论述了如何运用文化顺应的方法来克服以上四种文化障碍所造成的口译障碍，并更进一步，提出了口译中文化顺应的局限性。总而言之，口译是一种跨文化活动，口译中由于文化因素所造成的障碍不可避免，而文化顺应正是克服这些障碍的根本方法。因此，译员只有努力提高自身文化修养，丰富跨文化知识，在口译过程中做到文化顺应，才能达到理想的交际效果。
[Abstract]:Globalization makes people from different cultures communicate more and more, and cultural diversity and differences between different cultures will inevitably lead to obstacles in the process of cross-cultural communication, thus putting forward the requirements of interpreters as a bridge of cross-cultural communication.Versolren's adaptation theory has a great influence on the construction of the whole theory of pragmatics, at the same time, it opens up a new field of interpretation research, provides a new perspective and plays a positive guiding role.From the perspective of adaptation theory, this paper analyzes the cultural factors in interpreting, analyzes and discusses the possible obstacles encountered in cross-cultural interpretation and the strategies to deal with them.This paper can be divided into three parts.The first part gives an overview of interpreting theory and Versollen's adaptation theory. By comparing and analyzing the characteristics of interpretation and adaptation, we find that the similarities between interpreting and adaptation lie in their similarities.Interpreting is also a dynamic process of continuous selection to achieve contextual adaptation and structural adaptation, which leads to the conclusion that the interpretation process is a process of adaptation.The second part analyzes the four main cultural barriers (i.e. cultural default, different thinking mode, different value system and different religious belief) in the process of cross-cultural interpretation.Based on the analysis of the first part, the author draws the conclusion that adaptation is the fundamental solution to cultural barriers in interpreting.The third part discusses how to use the method of cultural adaptation to overcome the interpretation barriers caused by the above four cultural barriers and further points out the limitations of cultural adaptation in interpreting.In a word, interpreting is a cross-cultural activity, and cultural adaptation is the fundamental method to overcome the obstacles caused by cultural factors in interpreting.Therefore, only by trying hard to improve their own cultural accomplishment, enrich cross-cultural knowledge, and achieve cultural adaptation in the process of interpretation, can they achieve the ideal communicative effect.
