从主体间性视角探讨口译员的主体性

【摘要】:随着西方翻译研究的文化转向之后,翻译研究的重点从两种语言转换的技术层面转移到翻译行为所处的译入语语境以及相关的诸多文化因素。翻译研究的文化转向拓展了翻译研究空间,使翻译主体的研究成为了译学研究的重要课题,译者的文化身份及其主体性的研究也成为译学研究的重点。目前国内的大部分学者都是以我国文学作品作为文本资料来探讨译者的主体性,而极少涉及口译员的主体性的发挥限度及范围。从主体性研究的整个脉络来看,当代中国翻译研究正由主体个体转向主体性以及主体之间的关系,但是有关口译活动中主体间的关系对译员主体性的影响的文章寥寥无几。随着国际交流的增多,口译活动也愈加频繁,因此对口译员主体性的研究,不仅可以使译者抛开一些传统翻译方法研究的束缚,而且可以为译者在口译中所进行创造性叛逆提供较好的指导,使译员在有限的时间内,高效的完成口译工作。 本文通过主体性及主体间性的概念,探讨口译活动中,主体之间的关系,以及其对译员主体性的影响。文章通过哲学的阐释学和从人类的认知角度,探讨口译过程中译员的认知过程,以此来了解口译员主体性发挥的原因及过程。通过口译实例来提出主体间性关系对译员主体性发挥的限制性因素。本文拟探讨的主要问题是:口译员主体性发挥的必然性,口译活动中的主体间性关系对译员主体性的限制,间性关系下如何适当的发挥口译员主体性。 本研究发现:口译是一种多主体参与的实践活动。各主体之间相互尊重,相互认同,进行平等的交流。口译员的主体性受到口译活动中的其他主体因素的影响,口译员主体性的受限性体现在口译员与发言人和听众的交互关系上。而译员主体性发挥主要体现在人类认知的各阶段,表现在译员的口译活动中。只有辩证的对待口译员的主体性及口译活动中主体间性关系,才能更好的进行翻译实践活动。相信本研究在一定程度上拓宽口译主体性以及主体间性的研究视野;进而为口译研究提供新的视角。
[Abstract]:With the cultural turn of western translation studies, the emphasis of translation studies has shifted from the technical aspect of two-language translation to the context of the target language in which the translation act is located and the cultural factors associated with it. The cultural turn of translation studies has expanded the space of translation studies, making the study of translation subjects an important subject in translation studies, and the study of translators' cultural identity and their subjectivity has also become the focus of translation studies. At present, most domestic scholars use Chinese literary works as textual materials to explore the translator's subjectivity, but rarely involve the limits and scope of the translator's subjectivity. From the whole context of subjectivity study, contemporary Chinese translation studies are changing from subjectivity to subjectivity and the relationship between them. However, there are few articles on the influence of intersubjectivity on translator subjectivity in interpreting activities. With the increase of international communication, interpreting activities become more and more frequent. Therefore, the study of interpreters' subjectivity can not only make translators cast aside the shackles of some traditional translation methods. Moreover, it can provide better guidance for the translator to carry out creative treason in interpreting, so that the interpreter can finish the interpreting work efficiently in a limited time. Based on the concepts of subjectivity and intersubjectivity, this paper probes into the relationship between the subjects in interpreting activities and their influence on the translator's subjectivity. Through philosophical hermeneutics and from the perspective of human cognition, this paper probes into the cognitive process of interpreters in the process of interpreting in order to understand the causes and processes of the subjectivity of interpreters. Through interpreting examples, this paper points out the restrictive factors of intersubjective relationship to the translator's subjectivity. The main problems discussed in this paper are: the inevitability of the interpreter's subjectivity, the limitation of the inter-subjectivity relationship in the interpreting activities, and how to give full play to the interpreter's subjectivity under the inter-subjectivity relationship. The present study finds that interpreting is a practical activity in which many subjects participate. Each subject respects each other, identifies with each other, carries on the equal exchange. The subjectivity of interpreters is influenced by other subjective factors in interpreting activities, and the limitation of interpreters' subjectivity lies in the interaction between interpreters and speakers and listeners. The translator's subjectivity is mainly reflected in the various stages of human cognition and in the interpreter's interpretation activities. Only the dialectical treatment of the subjectivity of interpreters and the intersubjective relationship in interpreting activities can the translation practice be better carried out. It is believed that the present study will broaden the perspective of subjectivity and intersubjectivity in interpreting to a certain extent and provide a new perspective for the study of interpreting.
