中英非言语交际差异研究

【摘要】：在交际中，有两种主要的交际方式：言语交际和非言语交际。在人们的交际中，往往只看重言语交际，却忽略了非言语交际的重要性。虽然非言语交际的产生早于书面语言和有声语言，但是它作为一门学科是在20世纪上半叶才开始得到发展。人们表达感情和传递信息的手段除了言语交际还有非言语交际。非言语交际包括手势、面部表情、眼神、衣着、气味等与身体有关的非言语信息，也包括个人的时间观念、对空间的使用、说话时的声音和沉默等与环境有关的非言语信息。在跨文化交际的过程中，非言语交际作为一种辅助手段是不可缺少的。从某种程度上说，非言语交际比言语交际更能表达交际者的内心状态。本文以霍尔的高低语境为理论，用定性分析的方法对搜集到的中英非言语交际差异的案例进行详细的研究。作为对比分析的材料是从非言语交际的实际使用及相关经典著作中收集来的实例。以日常交际中最基本、最常见、最重要的非言语符号为研究对象。从体态语、副语言、环境语和客体语等方面对中英非言语交际的差异作了系统的研究，，从中找出中英非言语交际方面的差异，避免其在跨文化交际中的交际失误和冲突，达到成功的交际目的。通过分析和研究，本文发现中英非言语交际的差异主要表现在三个方面：第一，文化的差异，非言语交际具有像言语交际一样的文化局限性，不同文化背景的人对非言语交际的理解是不同的；第二，高低语境的差异。第三，思维方式的差异。在会话中，人们不仅会运用言语而且会有意识或无意识地运用非言语交际来表达自己的情感，在交际中，为了达到成功的交际，一定要摒弃刻板印象和民族优越感。本研究旨在使人们意识到非言语交际在交际中的重要性，关注和理解中英非言语交际的差异，从而培养非言语交际的能力，重视非言语交际的运用，提高非言语交际。以期能帮助交际双方减少误解，建立良好的关系，为跨文化交际做出贡献。
[Abstract]:In communication, there are two main ways of communication: verbal communication and non-verbal communication. In people's communication, only verbal communication is often emphasized, but the importance of non-verbal communication is neglected. Although nonverbal communication originated earlier than written language and spoken language, it began to develop as a subject in the first half of the 20th century. The means by which people express their feelings and convey information are not only verbal communication but also non-verbal communication. Non-verbal communication includes gestures, facial expressions, eyes, clothing, smell and other non-verbal information related to the body, but also includes personal concept of time, the use of space, voice while speaking and silence and other non-verbal information related to the environment. In the process of cross-cultural communication, non-verbal communication as an auxiliary means is indispensable. To some extent, nonverbal communication can express the inner state of communicators better than verbal communication. Taking Hall's high and low context as the theory, this paper makes a detailed study of the differences between Chinese and English nonverbal communication by qualitative analysis. The materials used as comparative analysis are examples collected from the practical use of non-verbal communication and relevant classics. The most basic, common and important non-verbal symbols in daily communication are studied. This paper makes a systematic study on the differences between Chinese and English non-verbal communication from the aspects of body language, paralanguage, environment language and object language, so as to find out the differences in non-verbal communication between Chinese and English, so as to avoid the communication errors and conflicts in cross-cultural communication. To achieve the goal of successful communication. Through analysis and research, this paper finds that the differences between Chinese and English nonverbal communication are mainly manifested in three aspects: first, cultural differences, non-verbal communication has the same cultural limitations as verbal communication. People from different cultural backgrounds have different understanding of non-verbal communication. Third, the difference of thinking mode. In conversation, people not only use speech but also consciously or unconsciously use non-verbal communication to express their emotions. In order to achieve successful communication, we must abandon stereotypes and ethnocentrism. The purpose of this study is to make people realize the importance of non-verbal communication, pay attention to and understand the differences between Chinese and English non-verbal communication, so as to cultivate the ability of non-verbal communication, attach importance to the use of non-verbal communication, and improve non-verbal communication. The aim is to help the communication parties to reduce misunderstanding, establish a good relationship, and contribute to cross-cultural communication.
