[Abstract]:In the process of translation , the translator is the center of translation . It is not a passive role , but a proactive role . In the course of translation , the translator is not created . At the same time , the translator is a passive role .
Before starting the translation , the translator needs to think about : what ? How to translate ? How to translate ? What is all this , and what ? Does he have his own translation view ? Does he know what professional ethics ? Or , does he have a certain ethical consciousness ? He is surrounded by a variety of translation tasks and surrounded by various responsibilities and obligations . In the unconscious , the translator ' s rights tend to be ignored .
As a translator , it is from this ethical perspective that I begin to think about the translator ' s rights and obligations . In Chapter 1 , we will first explore several related basic concepts . In Chapter 1 , we will first explore several related basic concepts . This chapter is divided into four chapters : translation and translation , subjectivity and intersubjectivity , occupation and industry , translator ' s task and ethics .
In the second chapter , we will focus on the right of the translator : the right to survival , the choice of choice and the right to development . The right to survival is the basic right of the translator , composed of remuneration , environment and identity . The choice is the necessary right of the translator . The choice of the text , the choice of translation strategies and the choice of the collaborators .
The right to development is the category of the translator ' s ethics . The right to development is a high - level right of the translator . We have entered the age of professional translation , and the professional development will become more and more important . The right to development includes the development space of the translator , the translator ' s intellectual property rights and the translator ' s benefit .
In the third chapter , we will think about the translator ' s obligations . We divide our obligations into three categories : self - improvement , professional ethics and translation culture . Self - improvement is the translator ' s self - discipline , and professional ethics is the claim of professional ethics . It is the translator ' s law . Translation culture construction calls for self - discipline and his system .
As a translator , his main obligation is to abide by these professional ethics norms and standards . The translator ' s main obligation is to abide by these professional ethics norms and standards . The translator ' s task is not only translation but also contribution to the construction of translation culture . The construction of translation culture is one of the most sacred and glorious obligations of the translator .
The relationship between rights and obligations is not independent , but indivisible . " There is no obligation to think about the relationship between rights and obligations . " These relations also depend on the subjectivity and inter - subjectivity of translation .
In short , the translator ' s rights should be well protected and realized in an ideal country with strong translation culture , and the translator ' s obligations should be well respected and implemented .
