中美跨文化交际中中国大学生礼貌意识偏差研究

【摘要】：如今东西跨文化交际日益频繁。恰当的使用礼貌用语是交际成功的一个重要因素。虽然礼貌是一个普遍的社会现象，但是礼貌在中美文化中的实现方式和评价标准是不同的。语言学家们对于不同文化的礼貌准则和行为进行了研究，，成果颇丰，并为这个领域提供了富有价值的见解。这些研究总结了中美文化中礼貌的异同，但是几乎没有在中美跨文化交际的背景下对交际者礼貌用语的研究。面对信息技术的飞速发展，中国大学生是思想开放的新一代。相较于前辈，他们可以接触到更多即时又生动的关于美国文化的方方面面。在跨文化交际中，他们的礼貌意识会受到美国文化和根深蒂固的中国文化价值观的影响。本论文旨在研究中美跨文化交际中中国大学生的礼貌意识偏差。笔者用了定量和定性的研究方法。研究通过三组共130名被试完成三个问卷调查，解答以下问题： 1.当中国大学生与美国人交往时，他们的礼貌意识偏差体现在哪些方面？ 2.是什么因素导致了中美跨文化交际中中国大学生的礼貌意识偏差？ 3.对美国文化的感知是否影响了中国大学生在跨文化交际中的礼貌意识? 通过SPSS13.0,笔者对130份调查问卷的结果进行了分析，得出以下结论：第一，在中美跨文化交际中，当说话者的相对权力在听话者之下及当说话者和听话者社会距离较大时，中国大学生会有较多的礼貌意识偏差。但是在一些诸如问候，分别这样简单的模式化的交际场景中，中国大学生能够使用适当的礼貌用语。第二，集体价值观和等级意识是两个造成中国大学生在跨文化交际中礼貌意识偏差的显著因素。第三，中国大学生对美国的观点和印象来自于他们对美国文化的感知，但是这种感知对他们在跨文化交际中的礼貌意识影响甚微。
[Abstract]:Nowadays, there are more and more frequent intercultural communication between East and West. Proper use of politeness is an important factor in the success of communication. Although politeness is a common social phenomenon, politeness is different in the way of realization and evaluation in Chinese and American culture. Linguists have studied the politeness and behavior of different cultures. There are plenty of valuable insights in this field. These studies summarize the similarities and differences of politeness in Chinese and American cultures, but there is hardly a study of communicative politeness in the context of intercultural communication between China and the United States.
Facing the rapid development of information technology, Chinese college students are a new generation of ideological openness. Compared with their predecessors, they can contact more immediate and vivid aspects of American culture. In cross cultural communication, their politeness will be influenced by American culture and the deep rooted Chinese cultural values. In the study of Chinese college students' Politeness deviation in Chinese and American intercultural communication, the author uses a quantitative and qualitative research method. Through three groups of 130 subjects, three questionnaires are completed to answer the following questions:
1. when Chinese college students interact with Americans, what are the differences in their politeness awareness?
2., what factors led to the deviation of politeness in Chinese and American intercultural communication?
3. does the perception of American culture affect the politeness consciousness of Chinese college students in intercultural communication?
Through SPSS13.0, the author analyzes the results of 130 questionnaires and draws the following conclusions:
First, in Chinese and American cross-cultural communication, Chinese college students have more discrepancy of politeness when the speaker's relative power is larger than the speaker and the speaker and the listener society. But in some simple and patterned communicative situations, such as greetings, Chinese college students can use appropriate politeness. Term.
Second, collective values and hierarchical consciousness are two significant factors that cause Chinese college students to deviate from politeness awareness in cross-cultural communication.
Third, Chinese college students' views and impressions of the United States come from their perception of American culture, but this perception has little influence on their politeness in intercultural communication.
