多语背景下汉语词汇习得中的语际影响

【摘要】:方今世界,多语现象越来越常见,人类学习语言的潜力得到了比以往任何时代都要多的开发。在这样的背景之下,我们对外汉语的主要教学对象——来自世界各地的留学生,似也呈现出习得语种多、学习经历复杂等特点。本研究所关注的,正是这种新形势下的汉语词汇习得。 自90年代以来,多语背景下的语言习得研究出现了较多的增长。很多学者都已经相信,仅仅研究人类学习其第二门语言的过程,是不足以得出非母语语言习得的一般性理论的。我们猜想,对于汉语作为非母语语言的习得,应该亦不能例外。吸收西方国家多语习得领域研究成果,借鉴汉语作为第二语言习得研究已有经验,我们考察了留学生不同语言在其汉语词汇习得过程中产生的语际影响,通过两部分的实证研究,最终有所发现: (1)目前来华学习汉语的非英语国家留学生绝大多数都不是初次学习外语。 (2)来自相同非英语国家的留学生可能具有共同的第二语言,而来自不同非英语国家的留学生往往也具有共同的第二语言即英语,且均受到了正式、长期的课堂教学。 (3)作为共同第二语言的英语会对初级水平学习者的汉语词汇习得产生影响,但起主导作用的仍是学习者的母语。 (4)不同母语的学习者在其己习得语言之间的互动影响中会体现出不同的特点,但这不是完全由母语决定的,而是多种相关因素综合作用的结果。
[Abstract]:In today's world, multilingualism is becoming more and more common, and the potential of learning languages has been exploited more than ever before. Under this background, our main teaching object of TCFL, the students from all over the world, seems to have the characteristics of many languages learned and complicated learning experiences. This study focuses on the acquisition of Chinese vocabulary under this new situation. Since 1990's, the study of language acquisition in multilingual context has increased. Many scholars have believed that it is not enough to study the process of learning a second language of human beings to develop a general theory of non-native language acquisition. We conjecture that the acquisition of Chinese as a non-native language should be no exception. Drawing on the research achievements in the field of multilingual acquisition in western countries, and drawing on the existing experience in the study of Chinese as a second language, we examine the interlingual influence of different languages on the acquisition of Chinese vocabulary. Through two parts of empirical research, finally found: Most students from non-English-speaking countries who come to China to study Chinese are not learning a foreign language for the first time. (2) students from the same non-English speaking countries may have a common second language, while students from different non-English speaking countries often have a common second language, that is, English, and have been taught in the classroom for a long time. (3) English as a common second language will have an impact on the acquisition of Chinese vocabulary at the primary level, but it is still the mother tongue of the learner who plays the leading role. (4) different native language learners have different characteristics in the interaction between their own language acquisition, but this is not entirely determined by the mother tongue, but the result of a variety of related factors.
