从副文本角度看鲁迅翻译思想的形成和传播

【摘要】：副文本(paratext)概念由法国文论家Gérard Genette于1987年提出，1997年由Jane E. Lewin翻译成英语并由剑桥大学出版社出版。副文本是指所有围绕文本主体的边缘性材料，在翻译研究中，文本主体是指译文本身。副文本按照其离文本主体距离的远近可细分为内文本(peritext)和外围文本(epitext),其中内文本材料包含文本的封面、出版商信息、正、副标题、序言、跋、注释等，而外围文本包含采访，信件，日记等。长期以来，传统翻译研究的注意力主要放在文本主体上，对于序、跋，出版商等辅助性文本材料重视不够，忽略了副文本在译者显身，阐述翻译思想，以及引导和调控读者对于文本主体的接受性等方面发挥的巨大作用。鲁迅研究是显学，其中鲁迅的文学成就和地位长期起来占据了主要地位，然而，对鲁迅作为杰出翻译家的研究一直以来没有得到充分的重视，，成果相对偏少。从数量上看，鲁迅的翻译丝毫不少于他的创作，从时间上看，鲁迅从事翻译活动要远远早于其创作活动。作为五四新文化运动的旗手，中国著名的文学家和思想家，鲁迅对翻译问题也作了一系列精彩的论述，对中国译学理论的发展做出了重大贡献，而其翻译思想多见于其撰写的序言、跋等副文本材料。通过梳理鲁迅译文的副文本材料，本文一方面分析了鲁迅在序、跋中对于翻译具体文本时的表述和其对于翻译问题的专门论述，总结出鲁迅在翻译思想上由意译到直译的转变，并解析其硬译翻译思想形成的原因；另一方面也提出鲁迅撰写的大量序、跋等文字材料，出版商的推介，鲁迅本人的崇高地位等在鲁迅翻译思想的传播中起到的巨大推动作用。副文本对于翻译研究意义重大，在揭示译者翻译思想，提供译者与读者交流平台，探究译本生成和传播等方面起到重要作用。将副文本研究同鲁迅翻译研究结合起来，拓宽了翻译研究的方法，丰富了鲁迅翻译研究的视角，同时也为揭示其他翻译家的思想提供了一个新的角度。
[Abstract]:The concept of paratextwas put forward by French literary theorist G 茅 rard Genette in 1987, translated into English by Jane E. Lewin in 1997 and published by Cambridge University Press. Paraphrase refers to all the marginal materials surrounding the subject of the text. In translation studies, the subject of the text refers to the translation itself. According to its distance from the main body of the text, the secondary text can be subdivided into two categories: the inner text, and the outer text, which contains the cover of the text, publisher information, positive, subtitle, preface, postscript, annotation, etc., while the peripheral text contains interviews. Letters, diaries, etc. For a long time, the focus of traditional translation studies has been on the main body of the text, and insufficient attention has been paid to the auxiliary text materials such as preface, postscript, publisher and so on. It also plays a great role in guiding and regulating readers' acceptance of text subject. The study of Lu Xun is prominent, among which the literary achievement and position of Lu Xun have occupied the main position for a long time. However, the study of Lu Xun as an outstanding translator has not been paid enough attention to, and the results are relatively few. In terms of quantity, Lu Xun's translation is no less than his creation. In time, Lu Xun engaged in translation activities far earlier than his creative activities. As the flag bearer of the May 4th New Culture Movement, Lu Xun, a famous Chinese litterateur and thinker, has also made a series of wonderful expositions on translation, which has made a great contribution to the development of Chinese translation theory. His translation ideas are often found in the preface, postscript, etc. By combing the paraphrase materials of Lu Xun translation, this paper, on the one hand, analyzes the expression of Lu Xun in the preface and postscript for the translation of specific texts and their special discussion on translation issues, and sums up the transformation of Lu Xun's translation thinking from free translation to literal translation. On the other hand, the author also points out that the prologue, postscript and other written materials written by Lu Xun, the introduction of publishers and the lofty status of Lu Xun play a great role in the dissemination of Lu Xun translation thought. The paraphrase plays an important role in revealing the translator's translation thoughts, providing a platform for communication between the translator and the reader, and exploring the generation and dissemination of the translation. The combination of paraphrase studies and Lu Xun translation studies not only broadens the methods of translation studies, enriches the perspectives of Lu Xun translation studies, but also provides a new perspective for revealing the ideas of other translators.
