语用迁移中的身份建构

【摘要】:本论文旨在运用语用迁移理论分析身份建构问题,探索人们在跨文化交际中如何利用语用迁移进行个人文化身份建构。以自我介绍及恭维语言语事件为媒介,了解人们在跨文化交际中有意识地使用语用迁移这种交际策略建构身份的意向,进而探究人们对将语用迁移视为一种交际策略来建构个人文化身份的态度,以及在跨文化交际中使用这种策略建构身份的可能性。 分析结果表明:总体上,大多数被试对在跨文化交际中利用语用迁移策略来构建个人文化身份持同意的态度,认为这种语用迁移不仅能够帮助建构个人的文化身份,而且有利于传播目的语学习者自己的文化,并有助于建立更加平等的跨文化交际模式。妨碍目的语学习者使用语用迁移建构身份的最大障碍是如何消除语用迁移带来的潜在副作用,即,如何消除本族语者将其误解为是语言学习者语言能力差的体现。大多数被试都认为,有意识地使用一些补救策略是解决这一问题的途径之一,然而,这一点同时提出了对目的语学习者语言使用能力的要求。 尝试将人们普遍认为的语用负迁移转化为积极的语用迁移,将有助于建立一个更加平等的跨文化交际模式,即,,在跨文化交际中,交际双方都应努力去了解和尊重彼此的文化和语言习惯,实现跨文化交际真正的顺利进行,这一点在英语正在变成世界语言的今天,具有更加积极的意义。
[Abstract]:The purpose of this thesis is to use pragmatic transfer theory to analyze identity construction and to explore how to use pragmatic transfer to construct individual cultural identity in cross-cultural communication. Using self-introduction and compliment as the medium, we can understand the intention of people to use pragmatic transfer to construct their identity in cross-cultural communication. Then it explores people's attitude towards pragmatic transfer as a communicative strategy to construct individual cultural identity and the possibility of using this strategy to construct identity in cross-cultural communication. Most of the participants agree to the use of pragmatic transfer strategies to construct individual cultural identity in cross-cultural communication, and think that this pragmatic transfer can not only help to construct one's cultural identity. Moreover, it helps to spread the target language learners' own culture and to establish a more equal intercultural communication model. The biggest obstacle for target language learners to use pragmatic transfer to construct their identity is how to eliminate the potential side effects of pragmatic transfer, that is, how to eliminate the misunderstanding of native speakers as the reflection of language learners' poor language competence. Most of the participants agreed that the conscious use of some remediation strategies was one of the ways to solve the problem, however, At the same time, it puts forward the requirement of the target language learners' ability to use the language. Trying to transform the generally accepted negative pragmatic transfer into positive pragmatic transfer will help to establish a more equal intercultural communication model. In cross-cultural communication, both sides should try to understand and respect each other's culture and language habits, and realize the smooth progress of cross-cultural communication, which has more positive significance in the present day when English is becoming a world language.
