浅析口译中的礼貌原则

【摘要】：随着中国国际化的脚步日益加快，与其他国家的交流也越加频繁。要交流，则难免存在语言障碍，因此，口译活动及相关研究等一系列活动应运而生。口译员在这些活动中扮演着一个不容忽视的角色，他们尽其所能来弥合对话双方存在的语言及文化上的差距。中国自古就是一个礼仪之邦，十分重视以礼待人，同样，西方文化中也有礼貌原则，为此，布朗,列文森,利奇还作了专门的研究，提出了一系列礼貌原则。我们必须认识到，一名合格的译员，单单具备扎实的语言功底是远远不够的。作为一种特殊的对话形式，口译活动必须毫无例外的遵从一些指导会话的原则，其中就包括至关重要的礼貌原则，这样才不至于产生不和谐之音。本文以礼貌原则为主要理论基础，介绍了礼貌原则的起源，准则，及相关理论，，以及中西方对于礼貌现象在日常生活中所发挥之作用的关注，并且指出了由此产生的一系列的礼貌策略，旨在唤起作为跨文化活动桥梁的译员对于礼貌原则的重视，从而使双方的交流能够在礼貌，友好，和谐的气氛中得以顺利进行。
[Abstract]:With the increasing pace of China's internationalization and more frequent exchanges with other countries, language barriers are unavoidable to communicate. Therefore, a series of activities, such as interpretation and related research, have emerged. Interpreters play an important role in these activities, and they do their best to bridge the existence of both sides of the dialogue. The gap between language and culture. China has been a state of courtesy since ancient times. It attaches great importance to courtesy. Similarly, western culture has the principle of politeness. For this reason, Brown, Levinson, and Leitch have also made a special study and put forward a series of politeness principles. We must realize that a qualified interpreter, alone, has solid language skills. It is far from enough. As a special form of dialogue, interpreter activities must comply with the principles of guiding conversation without exception, including essential politeness principles, which can not produce dissonance. This paper, taking politeness principle as the main theoretical basis, introduces the origin, guidelines, and related theories of politeness principle. And the attention of the Chinese and Western countries on the role of politeness in daily life, and points out a series of politeness strategies which are designed to arouse the attention of the interpreters as a bridge of cross-cultural activities to the politeness principle, so that the communication between the two sides can be carried out smoothly in a polite, friendly and harmonious atmosphere.
