从翻译的时代到直译的时代——基于贝尔曼视域之上的本雅明

【摘要】：自20世纪80年代翻译理论研究出现"文化转向"以来,本雅明的《译者的任务》几乎被所有翻译理论研究者奉为"圣经"。本雅明究竟在《译者的任务》中如何触及翻译的本质问题的?他又是基于怎样的"形而上"的语言观来谈论翻译的本质?法国哲学家、翻译家安托万.贝尔曼(AntoineBerman)所著的《翻译的时代》对本雅明做出了完整、丰富同时又深入的解读。本文旨在依据《翻译的时代》所提供的理论视域,指出本雅明对传统翻译观的三个"颠覆",并试图对《译者的任务》中所针对的翻译本质问题、可译性问题和直译问题有所澄清。
[Abstract]:Since the emergence of "cultural turn" in the study of translation theory in the 1980s, Benjamin's "translator's task" has been regarded as the Bible by almost all translation theorists. How does Benjamin touch upon the essence of translation in the translator's Task? What kind of metaphysical view of language does he base on to talk about the essence of translation? Antoine, French philosopher and translator. Antoine Berman's time of Translation makes a complete, rich and in-depth interpretation of Benjamin. Based on the theoretical perspective provided by the time of Translation, this paper aims to point out three "subversions" of Benjamin's traditional view on translation, and tries to address the essence of translation in the translator's Task. The problem of translatability and literal translation has been clarified.
