汉法动物词汇内涵与翻译

【摘要】：语言是文化的载体。词汇联想意义的概念即可印证这一结论，因为从广义的角度而言，词汇的联想意义正是在表达一种文化层面上的言外之意。也正因如此，如何定义“文化”这一拥有着9种含义的特殊词语是首要前提。这些含义从一般概念和相对概念这两个方向上来阐述“文化”。一般概念是指与自然、原始相对立的即文化；相对概念是指一个群体相对于另一个群体的风俗、习惯，等。在词汇联想意义的研究中，“文化”被定义为后者，即相对于另一个群体、民族而言，代表本群体、民族、文化特点的现象、物质和意识形态，，如东方文化和西方文化。 但是，文化和词汇联想意义究竟有怎样的关系？跨文化的联想意义翻译是否可行？如果可行，如何翻译？ 本篇论文将带着双重目的进行讨论：首先，作者将主要借助Georges Mounin和Bloomfield关于词汇联想意义的语言学理论以及中法动物词汇联想意义的系统比较，解释词汇联想意义与文化的关系。更具体地说，就是阐明中法动物词汇联想意义异同的根源。以此为基础,，在接下来的篇章中探究词汇联想意义的翻译可能性并以涉及动物词汇的词语翻译为例，提出词汇联想意义翻译的策略及方法。
[Abstract]:Language is the carrier of culture. This conclusion can be confirmed by the concept of lexical associative meaning, because in a broad sense, the associative meaning of vocabulary expresses a kind of cultural implication. Therefore, how to define "culture", a special word with 9 meanings, is the first prerequisite. These meanings explain "culture" from two aspects: general concept and relative concept. The general concept refers to culture, which is opposite to nature and primitive, and the relative concept refers to the customs, habits, and so on of one group relative to another. In the study of lexical associative meaning, "culture" is defined as the latter, that is, the phenomenon, material and ideology, such as oriental culture and western culture, which represent the group, nationality and cultural characteristics of a nation relative to another group. But what is the relationship between culture and lexical associative meaning? Is cross-cultural associative meaning translation feasible? If feasible, how to translate? Firstly, the author will explain the relationship between lexical associative meaning and culture with the help of Georges Mounin and Bloomfield's linguistic theory on lexical associative meaning and the systematic comparison between Chinese and French animal lexical associative meanings. More specifically, it is to clarify the origin of the similarities and differences in the associative meanings of Chinese and French animal words. On this basis, this paper explores the possibility of translating the associative meaning of vocabulary in the following chapters and, taking the translation of words involving animal words as an example, puts forward the strategies and methods of translating associative meanings of words.
