网络语言，一种新的社会方言

【摘要】：近年来，随着互联网的发展和网民的增加，网络语言也会随着迅猛发展，它无论从内容上还是形式上都与传统语言有很大差异，必会对传统语言产生一定的影响。语言本身就被看做是一种社会行为的重要特征，世界无时无刻不在变化，语言亦是如此。只要社会在发展，语言就会出现词汇构成和交际特点的变化。美国语言学家Davidcrystal把网络语言定义为与网络有关和在互联网上流通的语言，是网民们为了适应网上交际需要而创造和使用的语言。而网络语言从本质上讲是把现实语言的一种社会变异，是伴随着网民这一社会群体而出现的语言变体，由网络文化的出现而引起的语言变化的结果，而网络语言具备社会方言的使用者和交际场合的社会特征，，因此本文把网络语言定义为一种新的社会方言来研究。为了对网络语言进行科学的性质归属，本文借鉴了社会语言学的社会方言理论，首先指出网络语言是社会环境下出现的一种语言变异现象，有其独特的使用者和交际场合，把网络语言当做一种新的社会方言，讨论了其特征，表达功能以及变异趋势；然后，通过大量的数据收集来系统分析英汉BBS网络语言的交际特点和构词特征，并对比英汉网语构词的相似性，指出BBS语言是网络语境下网语的一种社会方言变体。随后，运用网络交流中合作原则和礼貌原则，通过对聊天语言的观察和分析，发现它与日常语言的最大区别是交际准则的不同，最后得出聊天语言是网络语境下以书面形式表达的特殊口语形式，也是网络语言中的另一种社会方言。从而希望对网络语言做出一个合理的定性认识，即：网络语言是一种新的社会方言。希望通过该研究使人们进一步更清晰的了解网络语言，每种网络语言变体都具有不同的语言特征，不能简单地把所有网络语言都归于同一种语言变体或一种新的语体，而应从社会角度对不同变体的网络语言进行确切的性质归属。
[Abstract]:In recent years, with the development of the Internet and the increase of Internet users, the Internet language will also develop rapidly. It is different from the traditional language in terms of content or form, which will have a certain impact on the traditional language. Language itself is regarded as an important characteristic of social behavior. The world is changing all the time, and so is language. As long as the society is developing, there will be changes in lexical composition and communicative characteristics. Davidcrystal, an American linguist, defines Internet language as a language related to the Internet and circulating on the Internet. It is a language created and used by Internet users in order to adapt to the needs of online communication. In essence, the network language is a kind of social variation of the real language, which is the result of the language variation caused by the appearance of the network culture. The network language has the social characteristics of the users of social dialects and communicative situations, so this paper defines the network language as a new kind of social dialects to study. In order to attribute the nature of network language scientifically, this paper draws lessons from the sociolinguistic theory of social dialect. Firstly, it points out that network language is a kind of language variation phenomenon in social environment, which has its own unique users and communication situations. This paper regards network language as a new social dialect, discusses its features, expressive functions and variation trend, and then systematically analyzes the communicative and word-formation characteristics of English and Chinese BBS network languages through a large amount of data collection. By comparing the similarities between English and Chinese, the author points out that BBS language is a social dialect variant in the network context. Then, by using the principle of cooperation and politeness in the network communication, through the observation and analysis of the chat language, it is found that the biggest difference between it and the daily language is the difference of the communication criterion. Finally, it is concluded that chat language is a special spoken language in written form in the network context, and it is also another social dialect in network language. Therefore, we hope to make a reasonable qualitative understanding of network language, that is, network language is a new social dialect. It is hoped that through this study, people will have a clearer understanding of the network language. Each variant of the network language has its own language characteristics, and it cannot simply be attributed to the same language variant or a new style of language. The network language of different variants should be assigned exactly from the social point of view.
