哑行者的混合语——读蒋彝《湖区画记》

【摘要】：1937年出版的《湖区画记》(The Silent Traveller:A Chinese Artist in Lakeland,1937,Country Life Ltd.),是流寓海外的著名华人作家兼书画家蒋彝“哑行者画记系列”的第一部。蒋彝去国怀乡,为了摆脱文化失语的“重哑”状态,综合自身在诗、书、画三方面的特长,发明了一种诗书画杂揉、中英文混合的语言,扬长避短,游刃有余,开拓了海外华人写作的新境界,也为自己在广袤的历史原野上找到了位置。
[Abstract]:The Silent Traveller:A Chinese Artist in Lakeland 1937 country Life Ltd., published in 1937, is the first book in the series of paintings by Jiang Yi, a famous overseas Chinese writer and calligrapher. In order to get rid of the "heavy and mute" state of cultural aphasia, Jiang Yi developed a mixed language of poetry, calligraphy, and painting, in order to get rid of the "heavy mute" state of cultural aphasia. Opened up a new realm of overseas Chinese writing, but also found their place in the vast historical field.
