视觉艺术中的“色彩符号”研究

【摘要】: “色彩是第一视觉要素”,并且在视觉传达过程中,一些带有特殊含义的、具有符号性质的色彩,成为最具认知与传播的一种视觉语言。然而“色彩符号”在不同的语境下其符号“所指”又不尽相同,因为色彩的联想总是和一定的文化相关,尤其是在当今以东、西方文化相互区分、相互依存的世界文化氛围中,中国古代的色彩文明就其产生时间、影响深度、覆盖范围来说在当今世界上首屈一指。因此,在这个课题的研究中,中国以其不曾间断的文明史,成为色彩研究的第一工作现场。本文重点归纳了中国古代具有符号思想的色彩文化,如果对中国古代色彩符号的发展历程作大致的阶段性划分,那么远古为萌生期、先秦为形成期、秦以后为全面发展期、近现代为整合期。 色彩符号在其发展过程中,是受生产力水平特别是颜料的制作和染色的技能所限制的,这就决定了色彩符号是受一定的阶层所掌控,以致成为中国古代“礼乐”文化中的一部分。色彩符号在作为一种符号应用的前提下,还要具有艺术的、审美的特征,它来源于人类情感的领域并且在符号的应用中释放了人类的色彩想象。作为色彩学与符号学交叉领域的一门边缘学科,色彩符号既不是一般意义上的色彩装饰,也不是纯粹理性的符号应用。因此把色彩符号的研究和人类文化的研究结合起来,分析视觉艺术中色彩符号的产生、认知、传播等过程,以及在这一过程中色彩符号的表现类型和所发挥的效能,使色彩符号成为未来视觉空间内更具表现的视觉元素。
[Abstract]:"Color is the first visual element," and in the process of visual communication, some of the colors with special meanings are of a symbolic nature. "Color symbols" are different in different contexts, because color associations are always related to certain cultures, especially in the east today. In the cultural atmosphere of the world in which Western cultures are separated and interdependent, the color civilization of ancient China is second to none in the world in terms of its producing time, depth of influence, and scope of coverage. Therefore, in the study of this subject, China, with its uninterrupted history of civilization, has become the first working site of color research. This paper mainly sums up the color culture with symbolic thought in ancient China. If the development course of color symbol in ancient China is roughly divided into stages, So ancient times are germinating period, pre-Qin period is forming period, after Qin period is comprehensive development period, modern times is integration period. In the process of its development, color symbols are limited by the level of productivity, especially the skills of making and dyeing pigments, which determines that color symbols are controlled by certain strata. So that it becomes a part of the ancient Chinese "ritual and music" culture. Color symbols, on the premise of being used as a symbol, also have artistic and aesthetic characteristics. It originates from the field of human emotion and releases human color imagination in the application of symbols. As a marginal subject in the intersecting field of chromatics and semiotics, color symbol is not a general color decoration. Nor is it a purely rational application of symbols. Therefore, by combining the study of color symbols with the study of human culture, we analyze the process of color symbols' generation, cognition and dissemination in visual art. And in the process of color symbol expression type and performance, color symbol becomes the visual element in the future visual space.
