【摘要】:日益频繁的中西方文化交流为英语儿童小说提供了广阔的国内市场,英语儿童小说的引进和翻译逐渐成为了热门话题。然而,这种小规模翻译活动是以市场需求为导向,缺乏对具体翻译实践的探讨。 该报告以《哈利号历险记》的翻译项目为例,探讨了英语儿童小说的翻译实践。整个项目约五万字,由笔者和另外两名成员共同完成,为期45天。通过对项目流程和译文案例的分析,该报告重点探讨英语儿童小说翻译中可能遇到的三类问题:一是如何再现源文本中大量使用的修辞手法,二是如何处理中英文语音的差异,三是如何体现英语儿童小说的具体特色。 该报告首先介绍项目背景和《哈利号历险记》,其次分析译前准备工作和项目流程,接着讨论理论指导和项目意义,最后进行案例分析和总结。案例分析部分以目的论为指导,重点列举了翻译实践中所遇到的问题,并运用替换、改写、语意引申以及省略等翻译技巧提出解决方案。 该报告表明,要成功地翻译英语儿童小说,译者需要在翻译过程中准确把握源语文本的修辞特点和人物性格,采用灵活的翻译策略,正确处理语言差异等问题。通过该报告,笔者希望能对其他英语儿童小说的翻译有所助益,,从而使国内儿童读者更好地领略外国儿童文学,促进中西方文化交流。
[Abstract]:The increasingly frequent cultural exchanges between China and the West have provided a broad domestic market for English children's novels, and the introduction and translation of English children's novels have gradually become a hot topic. However, such small-scale translation activities are guided by market demand. Lack of discussion on concrete translation practice. The report takes the translation project of "the Adventure of Harry" as an example to explore the translation practice of English children's novels. The project is about 50,000 words, which was completed by the author and two other members. Based on the analysis of the project process and translation cases, the report focuses on three possible problems in the translation of English children's novels: first, how to reproduce the rhetorical devices widely used in the source texts. Second, how to deal with the differences between Chinese and English pronunciation, third, how to reflect the specific features of English children's novels. The report first introduces the background of the project and the Adventures of Harry, then analyzes the pretranslation preparation and project process, then discusses the theoretical guidance and the significance of the project, and finally carries out case analysis and summary. The case analysis section is guided by the Skopos theory. This paper focuses on the problems encountered in translation practice, and puts forward solutions by using translation techniques such as substitution, rewriting, semantic extension and ellipsis. The report shows that in order to successfully translate English children's novels, translators need to accurately grasp the rhetorical characteristics and characters of the source text, adopt flexible translation strategies, and correctly handle language differences in the process of translation. The author hopes to be helpful to the translation of other English children's novels so that domestic children readers can better understand foreign children's literature and promote the cultural exchange between China and the West.
