许渊冲《诗经》英译本中美的再现

【摘要】：《诗经》是光辉灿烂的中国古典文化的结晶，是中国传统文化典藏的宝库。其主题丰富，节奏鲜明、韵律和谐、结构工整，总体来说是音形意三美皆备，反映了我国古代人民生活的面貌，具有很高的艺术价值。翻译是一项复杂的艺术，不同的翻译目的直接决定译者不同的翻译策略。许渊冲先生是中国古诗词翻译大师，他在翻译的实践中提出了诗歌翻译的三美原则，他的《诗经》全英译本正是其音、形、意三美理论指导下的佳作。本文主要以许渊冲先生的三美原则为依据，分析其《诗经》英译本中三美的再现。第一章主要介绍了《诗经》的艺术特点，以及许渊冲先生诗歌翻译的三美原则。三美原则继承和发展了前人优秀的文艺理论，并且受到了多方好评。在文献综述部分，，本文择其重点，介绍了对许渊冲《诗经》英译研究中，较为重要的作家作品，并指出对于许渊冲《诗经》全英译本研究尚有空白和可以完善的地方。第二、三、四章是本论文的中心部分，分别从音韵、形式和意美方面进行了详细分析。在音韵方面，诗经中诗歌有双声、迭韵、头韵、尾韵、叠词、重言等特点，使得诗歌音韵铿锵，生动悦耳。在许译本中，韵译是其译本的典型特色，同时兼顾中外诗歌语言的特点,他采用了多种方法进行叠词的转换,生动再现了诗歌的音韵美。在形式方面，诗歌以四言为主，多用长短句，富于节奏变化，重章叠句缱绻吟唱赋予了诗歌形式美。翻译时，他尽量保持诗歌节奏，行数，章节对应一致，展现诗歌重章叠唱的优美形式，让读者领略真正的中国古典诗歌。在意美方面，《诗经》中赋、比、兴手法的运用，或直抒胸臆，或咏物起兴，使诗歌感情真挚，纯朴自然。诗中词汇、意象丰富，传递了异域民族特有的文化韵味。在翻译中，他把握好文化意象的深刻内涵以及比兴思维的手法特点，生动地再现了原诗的意蕴。综上所述，许渊冲先生的译本音、形、意三美齐备，全方位再现了《诗经》的艺术魅力。虽然他的诗歌翻译理论备受争议，译文也并非尽善尽美，但是他的翻译理论的提出为我国文学翻译理论的发展做出了重大贡献，他的翻译实践对中国文学对外传译产生了积极影响，向世界打开了又一扇了解中国文化的窗口。
[Abstract]:The Book of songs is the crystallization of splendid Chinese classical culture and the treasure house of Chinese traditional culture.Its theme is rich, the rhythm is bright, the rhythm is harmonious, the structure is neat, generally speaking is the sound shape meaning three beautiful, has reflected our country ancient people's life appearance, has the very high artistic value.Translation is a complex art. Different translation purposes directly determine the translator's different translation strategies.Xu Yuanchong is a master of the translation of ancient Chinese poetry. In his translation practice, he puts forward the principle of "three Beauties" in poetry translation. His whole English translation of the Book of songs is a masterpiece under the guidance of his theory of sound, form and meaning.Based on Xu Yuanchong's three-beauty principle, this paper analyzes the reproduction of the three-beauty in his English translation of the Book of songs.The first chapter mainly introduces the artistic characteristics of the Book of songs and the three-beauty principles in the translation of Xu Yuanchong's poems.The three-beauty principle inherits and develops the outstanding literature and art theory of predecessors, and has been praised by many parties.In the part of literature review, this paper introduces some important works of Xu Yuanchong's English translation of the Book of songs, and points out that there is still a blank in the study of the whole English translation of the Book of songs of Xu Yuanchong.The second, third and fourth chapters are the central part of the thesis, respectively from the aspects of phonology, form and esthetics.In the aspect of phonology, the poetry in the Book of songs has the characteristics of double voice, rhyme, alliteration, final rhyme, repetition word, stress and so on, which makes the rhyme of poetry sonorous and vivid and pleasing to the ear.In Xu's translation, rhyme translation is the typical feature of his translation, and at the same time, he takes into account the characteristics of Chinese and foreign poetic languages. He uses many methods to transform the reduplicated words, which vividly reproduces the beauty of the rhyme and rhyme of the poems.In terms of form, poetry is mainly composed of four characters, with long and short sentences, full of rhythmic changes, and heavy chapter and repeated sentences, which endow poetry with formal beauty.In translation, he tries to keep the rhythm of poetry, the number of lines, and the correspondence of chapters, to show the beautiful form of poetry, so that the reader can appreciate the real classical Chinese poetry.In the aspect of beauty, the use of Fu, Bi and Xing in the Book of songs, or the direct expression of one's feelings, or the arousal of the things, makes the poetry sincere and simple and natural.The words and images in the poems are rich and convey the unique cultural charm of foreign nations.In translation, he grasps the profound connotation of cultural image and the characteristics of Bi Xing's thinking and vividly reproduces the meaning of the original poem.To sum up, Mr. Xu Yuanchong's translation of sound, shape, meaning three beautiful, all-round reproduction of the Book of songs artistic charm.Although his poetry translation theory is controversial and his translation is not perfect, his translation theory has made a great contribution to the development of Chinese literary translation theory.His translation practice has had a positive impact on the interpretation of Chinese literature and opened another window for the world to understand Chinese culture.
