【摘要】： 价值论主要研究价值的意义、特征和分类、价值评价的本质以及价值判断的特征等，其理论和方法往往被用来探讨具体学科中的价值和价值判断问题。本论文旨在运用价值论的相关方法和原理探讨翻译的价值问题。它并不研究能够使翻译与原作达致等值的翻译策略和方法，而是研究价值本身，系统描写和归纳文学翻译价值类型和形态。价值现象是人类生活的普遍现象，价值问题是人类与生俱来的一个基本问题。追求价值、创造价值是人类生活的根本目标。它不仅是人类活动的标尺，也是人类进步的动力。价值也是人类认识的主要内容和目标。认识事物的本质，指导人类的实践，离不开对事物蕴涵的价值的把握。因此，价值研究是本体研究的有机组成部分。翻译的价值问题不仅涉及翻译的目的、动机、本质、原则、标准、方法，过程和结果等基本问题，而且与影响翻译生产和接受的社会文化因素密切相关。研究翻译价值问题几乎涉及从宏观到微观，从内部到外部等各种因素。它不仅有利于认识翻译的本质，也有利于翻译研究的学科发展，在翻译研究领域应占有重要位置。中西翻译理论和实践史表明，人们不仅尚未充分认识翻译的价值，也未给予翻译价值问题研究足够的重视。中西传统译论以及语言学翻译理论主要关注翻译可能性和翻译转换过程等问题。以忠实和对等为核心的翻译观及其相关话语把原文和作者摆在至高无上的地位，导致了翻译的贬值。二十世纪七十年代后期以来，翻译研究领域出现了重估翻译价值的共同趋向。目的论、多元系统论、文化学派、女性主义以及后殖民主义等流派向忠实／对等的翻译观发起了挑战，反对把翻译看作次要的、派生的、边缘性的活动，突出译者的主体性和“可见性”。然而，这些流派局限于各自领域的狭小范围，并没有展现出翻译价值的系统图景。翻译研究正在迅速发展成一门独立的学科，其不同的分支并未平衡发展。翻译价值研究是翻译研究中相对薄弱的环节。缺乏理论视野，缺乏系统思维以及工具论倾向等是目前存在的三个主要问题。无论是关于翻译价值本身的研究，还是翻译价值系统的描写都相对较少。价值概念及其使用一直众说纷纭，莫衷一是。翻译研究者们对价值概念的使用亦未统一。因此，本论文首先界定了价值概念，结合马克思主义存在论的观点，总结了理解价值概念的要点：一、从人的存在的角度理解价值，价值是人的存在的基本构成，是联结人和世界的中介；二、价值存在的基础是人类的实践活动，价值生成于实践，存在于实践；三、价值存在的方式是系统；四、价值是主客体的统一。它是主体在对象性活动和交往实践中对自我存在的意识和确认。翻译概念的理解同样立足于人的存在。翻译的发生虽然以原文的存在为前提，但翻译存在不是因为原文的存在，而是因为人存在的基本需要，因为它关乎人的生活和生命，是人的存在方式。翻译不是说出别人所说所写的“重述”方式，而是“以言行事”的实践方式，是人类追求生命的价值和意义的实践活动，翻译研究是以价值建构和意义阐释为目的的人文社会科学学科。翻译系统是翻译价值生成和存在的基础。当前的一些研究试图通过描写翻译系统确立翻译的独立存在。但对于翻译系统的一些基本问题尚未达成一致意见：翻译的系统因素有哪些?哪些是主体因素?哪些是客体因素?系统要素之间是什么关系?概而言之，目前提出的翻译系统模式要么建基于传统实践观的主客体关系结构，要么建基于后现代交往实践观的主体际关系结构。这两种模式都不能完整表达翻译活动系统结构。本论文以马克思主义交往实践观的“主—客—主”实践模式为框架建构翻译活动系统，分析了系统要素间的对话关系。重点探讨翻译的主体问题，指出作者、译者和读者是翻译活动中有差异的交往实践主体。作为实践主体，他们在翻译生成过程中的作用不同；作为价值主体，翻译活动对他们的价值也有不同的表现。在这个意义上，翻译价值系统可以看作由翻译活动与作者、译者和读者之间的价值关系构成。本论文同时从动态的角度考察了翻译活动的系统，即翻译价值的生成过程。从表面上来看，这个过程是生成和接受译文文本的过程。译文文本的生成过程是译者的选择过程。以往关于翻译选择的认识主要停留在客观规律性和可能性。从价值论的视角来看，翻译选择是译者进行价值选择，参与价值创造的过程，是译者发挥自我潜能，追求成功的人生和真的自我的过程。在此过程中，译者认识了自我，确证了自我存在的价值和意义，并通过建立自我存在与他人存在，世界存在的联系，参与社会乃至人类的价值建设。翻译接受过程是译文读者参与价值创造、实现价值的过程。在以上分析的基础上，本论文结合互文性概念分析了译文与原文的关系，指出翻译和创作都是价值生产和实现的活动，翻译不仅拥有独立存在的生命，而且通过建立译文读者和原文作者的对话关系而使原文增值。翻译和创作是同一价值链条上的不同环节，相互补充，跨越时空传递着人类生存的经验和精神。翻译是多维度的实践活动，考察翻译活动有不同的视角。立足于不同的维度和视角，翻译的价值表现不同。传统译论中关于翻译是科学还是艺术的争论反映了不同的翻译价值观。这些争论把文学翻译的某些特征和属性当成了文学翻译的本质，不仅因科学和艺术的对立而把文学翻译的两种价值割裂开来，而且对于价值的认识是工具论的。追问翻译的本质和价值问题应该按照现象学“回到事物本身，让事物显示自身”的思路，从考察其本体的基本构成开始。意象是文学翻译的本体。文学翻译是意象生成的过程。无论分析原作者意图，原文文本，选择译语词句，组织译文篇章，还是传达译者动机，满足译文读者的需要等都统摄于意象。这个过程包含着作者与原文作者，原文文本，译文文本以及译文读者的对话关系，在所有这些对话关系中都存在着审美和真理的统一。所谓审美，并不是指美的事物的属性或事物本身，而是对应于人类生存的最高需要，即审美需要的一种最高价值。真理不是指传统意义上的知与物的符合，而是此在的开封和去蔽，此在向可能性的敞开(海德格尔)。文学翻译是人类的社会文化实践活动。翻译的文化价值通常被理解为文学翻译对于文化发展的推动作用。在本论文中，翻译的文化价值指人的文化存在，描写文学翻译的文化价值意味着揭示翻译活动中所蕴涵的人的文化存在，具体表现为文学翻译在人的存在和发展，实现人的本质中的作用。诸如塑造人的心智，促进人的成熟与人格的完善等。文学翻译之所以具有这种价值首先在于它是真理和审美发生的场所。此外，文学翻译还具有丰富的伦理、道德以及政治内涵等，体现了人类的现实关怀和文化理想的追求。文学翻译在各个维度和视角的价值形态构成了一个动态的开放的综合价值系统。作为人类的实践活动，文学翻译是复杂多维的活动系统，反映着人类存在的多维性。翻译活动的发生往往出于多种目的，满足人类存在的多种需要。翻译活动系统内部存在着多层次的复杂关系，包括价值关系。作为社会文化活动，翻译与社会文化系统中的其它系统存在着密切的关系。处于不同的关系中，翻译的价值关系，价值形态不同。概括起来，文学翻译的价值系统内容是真、善、美的有机统一。描写和建立文学翻译价值系统具有多方面的意义。它从宏观和微观层面为翻译批评和价值评价提供了理论基础，能够提高翻译研究和翻译批评的学术高度。通过理论的阐发，更新人们对翻译的认识，使人们认识到翻译的性质和意义，给翻译寻求到生存于世的权利，为译者的工作赢得尊重。同时，对于翻译认识的加深意味着人类自我认识的加深。总之，文学翻译不是单纯的技术活动，它和文学创作一样都是人类的高级精神实践活动，是人的精神成长的象征，是人自身存在的意义的证明。当今时代，人文科学，包括文学研究，正在失去赖以存在的坚实基础，人文价值重建成为时代的深刻主题。文学翻译必须积极参与当代文化价值生成和价值重建，对当前社会的价值发挥主动的积极的影响。包括引言和结论，本论文由七章构成。第一章是本论文的引言部分。该章主要介绍了选题背景，意义，方法以及本论文研究的主要目标和任务。第二章主要考察翻译价值观的演变及其对翻译学学科发展的影响。围绕翻译概念的演变简要回顾了中西翻译理论的发展，指出翻译研究视角的转变反映了从贬低到重估翻译价值的历史趋向。考察了翻译价值问题的理论研究现状，指出当前存在着三个问题：缺乏理论视野的潜科学状态，缺乏系统性思维，明显的工具论倾向等。第三章分析了价值概念、翻译概念以及翻译价值研究的范围和目标，为描写翻译价值确立了概念和理论基础。首先，分析了价值概念，指出理解价值概念应该注意的几个方面，即价值是人的存在的基本构成，是以实践为基础，以系统的方式存在的主客体的统一。其次，从需要的角度分析了翻译的内涵，指出翻译主要满足人类存在的基本需要，是人类追求生命和意义的实践活动，翻译价值研究旨在揭示翻译的这种内涵。再次，指出翻译价值研究应该成为翻译研究的有机组成部分，并简要界定了翻译价值研究的范围和目的。第四章从静态和动态两个角度描写和分析了翻译活动系统。本章的内容既可以看作描写了翻译的部分价值表现，也可以看作进一步探讨文学翻译价值表现的基础和前提。首先，以马克思主义交往实践观的主—客—主实践结构建立翻译活动的系统，描写了翻译系统的构成。重点分析了翻译系统中的主体因素，指出作者，译者和读者是翻译整体系统中的有差异的主体。其次，从动态的角度分析了翻译价值生成的过程，重点分析翻译主体在翻译价值生成过程的作用，指出文本生产是译者在与其它系统因素对话的基础上的价值选择，价值创造过程，读者的接受是读者参与价值创造，价值实现的过程。再次，运用互文性概念从三个方面分析了翻译与原作的价值关系：译作和原作是彼此独立的存在；翻译使原作增值；翻译和原作是价值互补关系等。第五章从艺术的角度探讨了文学翻译的价值形态。回顾了科学和艺术的争论，指出了割裂不同价值和工具论倾向等问题。本章沿着现象学的思路考察文学翻译的本体构成，指出意象是艺术的本体，也是文学翻译的本体，文学翻译是一个创造意象的过程。文学翻译中的各种对话都是真理和审美发生的场所。文学翻译的价值是审美和真理的统一，也就是存在之去蔽，存在之澄明。第六章立足于“人是文化的存在，文化是人的存在方式”的人类学命题，探讨文学翻译的价值形态。人们通常从语言的文化性出发探讨文学翻译与文化的关系。本章进一步从翻译主体，，特别是译者主体的文化属性分析文学翻译的文化性，总结了文学翻译在文化发展中的作用，确定了文学翻译在文化系统中的位置为意识形态的生产。探讨了文学翻译的伦理、道德内涵以及政治内涵等，指出文学翻译反映了人的现实关怀和追求文化理想的价值内涵。第七章是本论文的结论。本章总结了本论文的主要贡献，特别强调了价值研究对翻译批评和翻译评价的意义。本章还指出了论文写作存在的问题，简要展望了翻译价值研究的未来方向。
[Abstract]:Value theory mainly studies the significance , characteristics and classification of the value , the nature of the value evaluation and the characteristics of the value judgement . The theory and method are often used to explore the value and value judgment of the specific subject . The purpose of this paper is to explore the value problem of translation by using the relevant methods and principles of value theory . It does not study the translation strategies and methods which can make translation and original achievement equivalent , but rather study the value itself , the system description and the induction literature translation value type and form .

Value is a universal phenomenon of human life , and the value problem is a basic problem of human life . It is not only the scale of human activity but also the motivation of human progress .

Chinese and Western translation theories and practice history show that people not only have not fully understood the value of translation nor did they give enough attention to the translation value problem .

Translation studies are rapidly developing into an independent subject whose different branches do not balance development . Translation value research is a relatively weak link in the study of translation . The lack of theoretical vision , lack of systematic thinking and the tendency of instrumental theory are three main problems .

This paper first defines the concept of value , combines with the viewpoint of Marxist ontology , summarizes the key points of understanding the concept of value : firstly , understanding the value from the perspective of human existence , value is the basic composition of human existence , it is the intermediary between the author and the world ;
Second , the basis of value existence is human ' s practical activity , the value is generated in practice , exists in practice ;
Third , the way of value existence is the system ;
4 . The value is the unity of the subject and object . It is the subject ' s awareness and confirmation of the existence of self in the activity and the communication practice . The understanding of the translation concept is also based on the existence of the original text , but the existence of human existence is not because of the existence of the original text .

The translation system is the basis for the generation and existence of translation value . Some of the current research attempts to establish the independent existence of translation by describing the translation system . What are the systemic factors of translation ? What are the subjective factors ? What are the object factors ? What is the relationship between the system elements ? In general , the thesis focuses on the subject matter of translation . It points out that the author , the translator and the reader are the main body of communicative practice in the translation activities .
As the subject of value , translation activities have different manifestations to their value . In this sense , the translation value system can be regarded as the value relationship between translation activities and the author , the translator and the reader .

On the basis of the above analysis , the translator understands the value and meaning of self - existence , and points out that translation and creation are the process of value creation and realization . In this process , the translation and creation is the process of value creation and realization .

Translation is a multi - dimensional practical activity , and the translation activities have different perspectives .

Literary translation is the social and cultural practice activity of human beings . The cultural value of translation is usually understood as the driving role of literary translation in cultural development . In this paper , the cultural value of translation refers to the existence and development of human beings .

Literary translation is a dynamic and open comprehensive value system in each dimension and angle of view . As a human ' s practical activity , literary translation is a complex multi - dimensional activity system , which reflects the multidimensional nature of human existence .

It provides a theoretical basis for translation criticism and value evaluation from the macro and micro levels , and can improve the academic height of translation studies and translation criticism . Through the analysis of the theory , it is possible to update people ' s understanding of translation , to make people aware of the nature and meaning of translation , and to win respect for the translator ' s work . At the same time , the deepening of translation knowledge means the deepening of human self - awareness .

In short , literary translation is not a purely technical activity , it is a high - level spiritual practice activity of human beings as well as literary creation . It is a symbol of human ' s spiritual growth . It is the proof of the existence of human beings . Modern times , humanities , including literary studies , are losing the solid foundation for the existence of human beings , and the reconstruction of humanistic values becomes the deep theme of the times . Literary translation must take an active part in the generation and value reconstruction of contemporary cultural values , and play an active and positive influence on the value of the current society .

Including introduction and conclusion , this thesis is composed of seven chapters .

Chapter One is the introduction part of this paper . This chapter mainly introduces the background , meaning , method of choosing topic and the main objective and task of this thesis .

The second chapter mainly examines the evolution of translation values and their influence on the development of translation studies . The evolution of translation concepts reflects the historical trend of translation value . It points out that there are three problems : lack of theoretical vision , lack of systematic thinking , and obvious tendency of instrumental theory .

The third chapter analyzes the concept of value , the concept of translation and the scope and goal of the study of translation value , establishes the concept and theoretical basis for the description of translation value . Firstly , it analyzes the meaning of translation , points out that translation mainly meets the basic needs of human existence , and it is the practice activity of human pursuit of life and meaning . The study of translation value aims to reveal the meaning of translation . Thirdly , it is pointed out that translation value research should be an organic part of translation studies and the scope and purpose of translation value research are defined .

Chapter four describes and analyzes the translation activities system from two aspects : static and dynamic . The contents of this chapter can be regarded as the basis and prerequisite for the translation of translation . First , the author analyzes the process of translation value generation from the dynamic angle , and points out that the author , the translator and the reader are the main body in the translation system .

Chapter five discusses the value form of literary translation from the point of view of art . It reviews the debate of science and art , points out the problems of splitting different values of literature and the tendency of instrumental theory . It points out that the image is the main body of art and the body of literary translation . The literary translation is the place to create images . The value of literary translation is the unity of the aesthetic and the truth .

The sixth chapter is based on the anthropology proposition of " human being the existence of culture and culture is the way of existence of human beings " , and probes into the value form of literary translation .

Chapter 7 is the conclusion of this paper . This chapter summarizes the main contributions of this paper , especially emphasizes the significance of value research on translation criticism and translation evaluation . This chapter also points out the problems in the paper ' s writing , and gives a brief outlook on the future direction of translation value research .
