[Abstract]:This paper attempts to explore creative treason in literary translation from the perspective of Skopos theory and chooses Sun Zhi-li 's Chinese version of Pride and Prejudice as a case study. Translation plays an important role in the process of human cultural exchange. Literary translation not only requires the reproduction of the original meaning art which is full of exotic feelings, but also the equivalence of the language form of the source language version. The contradiction between faithfulness and rebellion constitutes a pair of contradictions in literary translation. In the 1970s, there was a cultural shift in translation studies, and the focus of translation studies gradually shifted from the adherence to the principle of "faithfulness / equivalence" to the study of subject factors in translation. In the course of the study, scholars realized that it is imperative to reinterpret the traditional principle of "faithfulness / equivalence". In the new interpretation, literary translation is regarded by scholars as a process of re-creation, in which creativity and treason are two distinct features, and the concept of creative treason is put forward. Creative treason is the embodiment of translation subjectivity, which endows the original with the second life in the target language culture. By examining the term creative treason from the perspective of cross-cultural communication, it can be concluded that the essence of translation activities is to achieve the purpose of cross-cultural communication. At the same time, translators are the subject of translation, and their creative treason is indispensable to literary translation. This paper tries to use Skopos to study creative treason, that is, to examine the subjective strategies adopted by translators in literary translation and the reasons for their selection, which provides a new perspective for the study of creative treason. The author reexamines creative treason and puts forward his own views on creative treason, which can be defined as a translator driven by a definite motivation for re-creation in the process of translation. The creative translation behavior resulted from the interpretation and construction of the original works in the aspects of text, structure, content and aesthetic effect by exerting and using subjective initiative actively. The creative treason in literary translation mainly manifests in the form of increasing translation, reducing translation and interpreting. In a word, there are many differences between different languages, many things in one culture can not be completely transplanted into another culture, and it is difficult to achieve the purpose of conveying meaning by means of faithfulness in traditional translation theory. Creative treason inevitably occurs. In order to achieve the purpose of cultural exchange, the translator should creatively express the deep meaning of the original text in specific translation activities, and use various translation methods flexibly, including the addition, subtraction and interpretation of the original text. Therefore, creative treason is essentially faithful to the original author and the reader. In today's world, the coexistence of many cultures is the trend of the times. Creative treason is an important way to faithfully reproduce the meaning of the original text and convey the novelty of the source culture to the target language readers. In order to promote the diversity of human culture.
