从关联理论的视角看文学翻译中内隐信息的处理

【摘要】：作为跨文化交际的一种形式,文学翻译的特殊性在于对其特有的内隐信息的处理。内隐信息其独有的特点,如交际力度的层次性、对语境的依赖性、内隐信息与文本和语境的相互关联性等,使得文本、语境和成功的交际之间产生了相互依赖性,并制约了文本在其它语境中的可交际性,这就给文学翻译中内隐信息的处理带来了很大难度。为此,Ernst-August Gutt在1996年对文学翻译中内隐信息的处理作过研究,但是目前国内相关的研究还相对较少。本文正是在Gutt原有的理论和他最新研究的基础之上,试图从关联翻译理论的角度出发,采取解释性研究方法,通过推理、演绎、个例分析等手段,对文学翻译中内隐信息的处理进行了探讨,并建立一个关于解释文学翻译中处理内隐信息的理论框架。本文首先对关联理论的相关原理、概念,以及Gutt、李寅、赵彦春的关联理论的翻译模式作了一个评述性回顾,并提出“翻译是以交际线索为基础的语际间解释性地使用语言”的新观点。该观点涵盖了“解释性相似”和“文本特征(交际线索)的体现”两个概念。此外,本文从关联理论的角度出发对内隐信息的产生、本质及其特点作了进一步研究,并总结出:内隐信息是人类交际中所固有的,它是关联的前提条件之一,要使交际具有关联性,就必须在交际中传达一些内隐信息。此外,内隐信息是在对语境和文本综合处理的基础上在寻求关联时获得的。读者只有在获得足够的语境效果时,才能获得内隐信息。在这里,本文对语境效果进行了深一步分析,并提出:文学文本产生的语境效果可分为三个层次:艺术,审美,和知识层。为了说明文学文本中内隐信息的表达和处理过程,本文创建了图4.2,4.3,和4.4并用来进行分析研究,指出:文学文本中的内隐信息是通过文本的四个层次(声音层,意义单元组合层,再现客体层和图式化观相层)来体现的。在关联理论和Gutt关联翻译理论的指导下,本文以“直接翻译”“间接翻译”的概念为基础,建立了一个解释文学翻译中处理内隐信息的理论框架。考虑到翻译中语言和语境差异的存在,本文用以下强势和弱势两个框架来说明该理论框架: 1.强势框架
[Abstract]:As a form of intercultural communication, the particularity of literary translation lies in the processing of its unique implicit information. The unique characteristics of implicit information, such as the level of communication, the dependence on context, the interrelation between implicit information and text and context, make the text, context and successful communication interdependent, and restrict the communicability of the text in other contexts, which brings great difficulty to the processing of implicit information in literary translation. For this reason, Ernst-August Gutt studied the processing of implicit information in literary translation in 1996, but at present, there are relatively few related studies in China. On the basis of Gutt's original theory and his latest research, this paper attempts to explore the processing of implicit information in literary translation by means of explanatory research, reasoning, deduction and case analysis from the perspective of relevance translation theory, and establishes a theoretical framework for the processing of implicit information in interpreting literary translation. This paper first makes a critical review of the relevant principles and concepts of relevance theory, as well as the translation model of relevance theory by Gutt, Li Yin and Zhao Yanchun, and puts forward a new viewpoint that "translation is the interlingual explanatory use of language based on communicative cues". This view covers the concepts of "explanatory similarity" and "embodiment of text features (communicative cues)". In addition, from the perspective of relevance theory, this paper makes a further study on the generation, essence and characteristics of implicit information, and concludes that implicit information is inherent in human communication and is one of the prerequisites for relevance. In order to make communication relevant, it is necessary to convey some implicit information in communication. In addition, implicit information is obtained when seeking relevance on the basis of comprehensive processing of context and text. Only when readers get enough contextual effect can they obtain implicit information. Here, this paper makes a deep analysis of the contextual effect, and puts forward that the contextual effect of literary texts can be divided into three levels: art, aesthetics, and knowledge. In order to explain the expression and processing process of implicit information in literary text, figures 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4 are created and used for analysis and research. It is pointed out that the implicit information in literary text is embodied by four levels of text (sound layer, meaning unit combination layer, reproduction object layer and schemata phase layer). Under the guidance of relevance theory and Gutt relevance translation theory, based on the concept of "direct translation" and "indirect translation", this paper establishes a theoretical framework for interpreting implicit information in literary translation.
